I'm a swim instructor, and I worked in an outdoor pool in the Florida sun. This hat saved my skin and kept me cool. I intended to use this for gardening, but it was too big for me, so I gave it to someone with the right size and she loved it.

I've been looking for a hat like this I can use for water sports, gardening, or hikes. I like this one but it's a little big for my head. I'm a petite person so this has been a challenge finding the right size for me. I kept it anyway to use until I find another as it was a great price and the rim is stiff so protects from the sun.

I like that this hat provides good coverage, has a tie to keep it from blowing away if the day is breezy or if I'm indoors I can let it hang on my back rather than carrying it, and packed easily in my suitcase when I took a trip. It isn't as crisp looking as in the picture - the crown looks rather crumpled. But it dos what I bought it for.
