NACHTRAG nach 10 Monaten:Im Winter macht die Batterie schlapp und das Auto startet nicht mehr - da erst ab 11,7 Volt der Entladeschutz einspringt. Habe die Batterie bei der Inspektion überprüfen lassen, die ist in Ordnung. Habe mittlerweile einen Kippschalter. Seitdem startet das Auto wieder wie es soll (mit der alten Batterie). Im Endeffekt nutzlos, zumindest bei meinem Auto und Batterie.POSITIV:+ Funktioniert+ Smarte Lösung mit doppelter Sicherung+ Erleichtert die Verkabelung+ Sauberer Einbau, statt hängende Kabel vom Zigarettenanzünder+ Tiefenentladungsschutz (nicht perfekt)NEGATIV- Tiefenentladungsschutz erst bei 11,7 Volt, und nicht einstellbarWARUM EIN HARDWIRE KIT?Ich wollte meine Dashcam ans Dauerplus für den Park-Modus anschließen. Im Parkmodus nimmt die Kamera bei Erschütterung für eine Minute auf, für den Fall eines Parkunfalls, und schaltet sich danach wieder ab.Um die Batterie nicht leerzusaugen und wild umherhängende Kabel zu vermeiden musste also das Hardwire-Kit her.EINBAUDer Einbau ist je nach Auto unterschiedlich komplex.Bei mir (Kia Niro) komme ich sehr einfach an den Sicherungskasten neben dem Lenkrad, und hole mir das Dauerplus. Masse bekommt ihr von einer Schraube/Mutter an der Karosserie, in der Regel habt ihr viele wenn ihr mal unter die Verkleidung beim Sicherungskasten schaut.Danach entfernte ich den Dichtgummi in der Tür, um das Kabel von dem Sicherungskasten hinter dem Tür-Dichtgummi zur A-Säule zu bekommen. Die Verkleidung der A-Säule war bei mir einfach zu entfernen, sobald der Dichtgummi abgezogen war. Hier unbedingt darauf achten, dass das Kabel HINTER dem Airbag verlegt werden muss, falls ihr in der A-Säule einen habt. Am oberen Ende der Windschutzscheibe konnte ich das Kabel einfach "reinstopfen". Danach A-Säulenverkleidung und Gummidichtung wieder installieren und fertig.Ich hatte zwar großen Respekt vor dem Verlegen der Kabel hinter der A-Säule, letztlich ging es mit Vorbereitung und Forum-Anleitung doch recht einfach in einer halben Stunde.TIEFENENTLADUNGS-SCHUTZDa hier einige Nutzer von Tiefenentladung der Batterie berichteten habe ich mit meinem Netzteil gecheckt, ab wie viel Volt der Hardwire Kit abschaltet.Sobald die Spannung unter 11,8 Volt fällt, schaltet der Kit ab, also erst ab 11,7 Volt. Meiner Meinung etwas spät, und unnötig.FAZITFunktioniert soweit, schade dass erst ab 11,7 Volt abgeschalten wird, und man hier nicht manuel nachhelfen kann. Sollte ich mein Auto mal mehrere Tage stehen lassen werde ich hier nochmal einen Nachtrag machen - bis jetzt habe ich keine Probleme gehabt.BITTE BEACHTET: Der Ladezustand einer Autobatterie kann NICHT per Spannung getestet werden, wenn keine Last anliegt. Ihr braucht ein Batterietestgerät dazu, um zu checken was unter Last passiert!

Good quality product, easy to install if you follow these instructions, find your cars fuse box, remove a 10amp fuse then plug in this fuse end, Plug the originally removed fuse into this fuse holder, then simply connect the round circular ebd to any part of your car that can be used as a grounding connection.That easy people....

Bought this to go with my AUKEY DR02D Dual Dash Camera kit. After seeing a couple of YouTube videos I was able to get started easily. I attached this hard wiring kit onto the stereo as it has constant power on my Ford Fiesta mk7 Diesel. I was able to ground it to a nearby bolt behind the glove box and wire it in relatively easily. I managed to coil and bind all the extra cabling, hiding everything out of sight. This has everything you need to do the job and you don't need any extra gadgets or boxes to make sure you don't drain your battery. As the box with it is a step down and gives you 5V into the camera. Well worth doing this for peace of mind.

Received kit on time, no problems, please be aware of your camera mini USB fitting, The supplier gives you the choice. This hardwire kit was most definitely a great pick, cheaper than the high street and the same product as the high street, no cost cutting cheapo version, its the real deal. you get 3 fuse mounting kits (different sizes) one of them will fit your car. Easy to connect up, with the choice of continuous live feed (My choice) or ignition switch on to live feed. Please ensure you invest in a multitester to ensure you put the fuse on the right side of the line. Not being an electronics man, just go to youtube, there are many videos and tips on how to wire in. It took me 15 minutes to find the cars inner fuse box and to hardwire the power in to my dashcam using a spare slot. Take care many cars have airbags behind some of the panels when hiding the wires around the screen to the fuse box of your car, ensure that the cables are clear of the airbags, they are there to save your life in an emergency activation, having power cables dangling around could stop them working properly, Cable management is a must... ty-wraps did the job easily. Red wire to the fuse box, black wire earthed to any true earthed point in the car.... Everything works a treat, Happy days

This is a high quality kit enabling you to hardwire your dash camera in to your cars electrical system saving you the need to run the cabling to a to usb adapter. The kit makes for a neat install. The kit comes with with 3 fuse inline plugs enabling to you directly tap in to your fuse box a neat design which means you do not have to cut or tap in to your cars wiring. The inline fuse plugs come with 3 fuses all sized up for each adapter. The negative wire can be easily attached to any ground wire under the dash msot are readily available near the dash. I plugged in to the accessory fuse on my Honda making sure the live wire was dead when the ignition key was in 0 position this makes sure the camera is off when you turn the car off. I recommend you make sure you get the correct lead micro or mini usb I bought the aukey dash cam so purchased the mini usb version. The kit is also fuses inline so adds double protection. The wiring is high quality a top notch product great stuff.
