The only downside is I got the travel mini. I almost always get a travel or mini especially R+CO because I can actually afford it and it lasts awhile. I think this mini was the smallest they have...0.5 ounce. I'm guessing that's why they don't have the mini on their website anymore...no one was buying it.I wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. Make sure your hair is wet and that you add water as you work it into the hair. You'll get some suds, just be patient. It was the first time my hair felt extremely clean, no excess product or oil, no itchy scalp. Very gentle. I thought the scent was fine...but I've had it before in some of their other products. It dissipates pretty quickly. Of note, my hair is long to my waist, fine but a lot of it, making it thick. It's difficult to get soap out. I had NO trouble getting Submarine out. It was very easy, gentle, didn't strip my hair or my dye-job. Left it feeling very soft and manageable.

I get sticky oily dandruff, but dandruff shampoos that I've tried in the past have dried out my hair too much or do nothing at best. I have fine wavy hair so the dryness causes breakage, frizz, etc... I decided to give this one a try, and I'm pleasantly surprised!It's a small bottle and expensive, but I don't think you need much. The shampoo is a thick gel that you wet before massaging into the scalp. I've used it on its own or with another shampoo (either at the same time or regular shampoo one wash and this shampoo at a later wash), and either way it works really well. My hair gets oily after a couple days, but with no dandruff, which is shocking! I now wash my hair like 1-2x per week and use dry shampoo in between. Because of the price I don't know if I'll buy again or just go back to my old routine of washing more often, but I do like the way my hair has been looking lately and that might be worth it.

I was concerned this would dry my hair out, often shampoos that clean well strip too much, but my hair is as soft as can be and so happy. Love the cooling feeling and my scalp feels cleaner and fresher than with another product I’ve used. I follow this with the super garden hair treatment at the recommendation of my stylist and my scalp has never been happier. Highly recommend if you have troubled/difficult scalp.

This did not calm my scalp as I was hoping.

I am someone that has high sebum production. Usually, I can get 1.5 days without having to use dry shampoo to make my hair look less grease pitty. I can get about 2.5 days with this shampoo with only one application i.e. no double cleanse. I do not condition my roots and avoid hair styling products there, too. However, if I am using a heat protectant, it is used sparingly there. Great product.
