Sticks well, looks great on kayak
I have these on two of my kayaks now. I've had it on a polyethylene kayak for a year and a half and it's spent many hours in the sun on the water. Still sticks great, still looks great. I liked it so much I bought one for my newer kayak as shown in these pictures. Comes with a spare pair of eyes.It doesn't show in the pictures but the material that this is printed on is reflective so it looks good and is very visible at night. For polyethylene kayaks (most entry and mid level kayaks) it's important to prepare the surface and apply correctly or the sticker won't stick. Any sticker. First clean the surface with alcohol. Household cleaners are not good, they leave a residue that will prevent good adhesion. Second best is dishwashing liquid in water, rinsed *very* well and dried thoroughly. Just before putting the sticker on, heat the plastic with a hair dryer until it's warm to the touch. After application, press down all over the sticker, every bit of it, the harder you push the better it sticks. Especially the edges.

Looks great 👍🏽
Hard to keep it on the kayak. It came off few times and had to use glue to hold it together.

Major Design Flaw
This is an update and I am revising my rating to one star, only because Amazon does not allow zero stars. I thought the issues I pointed out in my original review were the only problems I would have but, even though I thoroughly cleaned the surface with fine steel wool and wiped it down with alcohol, after three days, without even making it to the water, this thing is already starting to bubble and peel. The adhesive being used was probably designed for glass or painted metal but, definitely not plastic. I have a Perception Sport Conduit kayak and it has a very smooth surface so, there is no reason for this to happen other than the wrong adhesive being used. In fact, I'm will to bet that the majority of people that gave this thing four or five stars, used additional adhesive. I wish the folks that had success with this approach would mention what adhesive they used, there are hundreds of them!Previous 3 star review:I gave this product three stars because it does look pretty cool but, there is what I consider to be a major design flaw in the product. Specifically, this thing comes in two pieces instead of one contiguous piece with backing that comes off in two pieces allowing you to apply one side, remove the other side backing and apply the other side, resulting in one seamless decal. Instead, this thing results in a seam along the curved leading edge of the kayak and, it is at this seam that I will bet is where this thing has come apart for all you folks that have reported adhesion problems. In my case the tensile strength of the decal is such that it will not adhere completely to the leading edge of the kayak leaving a little bit of the leading edge coming undone and, it is at this point that this thing is going to start coming off as the kayak knifes through the water. I can already see it.If you manufacturers read any of these reviews, here's a suggestion for a possible relatively easy fix for this: Provide a piece of decal material in either red or black, about 1/2 X 6 inches to provide a cover strip for the leading edge seam, this may prevent water and other encountered material from pulling at the exposed edge.

Looks awesome on my kayak!
Looks great and seems like good material. My only negative is that I put it on nice and smooth and the next day it had a couple of wrinkles in it. Keep having to smooth it out, don't know if it is heat, humidity, or both.

Looks great on kayak!
I was curious after reading the negative reviews, but decided to give it a chance. Surface prep is important so I cleaned the area and then used rubbing alcohol as the final step before placing the stickers. It’s been a week and they are still adhered very well. They look great on my kayak!
