Edgewater Parts 00611332, AP4339596, PS3477702 Drain Pump Compatible With Bosch Dishwasher (Fits Models: 630, DWH, S36, S47, SGE)

I pulled the old pump and found debris that was preventing it from functioning. Thinking that would solve the issue I replaced the old pump in the unit. it worked for the next two cycles and stopped again. I replaced the old pump with the new pump and it's been working for almost a month now without issue. As a side note, while installation is fairly simple, make sure you get the pump properly seated and locked. When I replaced the old pump I didn't get the pump rotated all the way around like it should and it leaked the first run. A quick double check of the seating fixed the issue and it's been fine ever since.

This works for my 10 year old Bosch washer. It's quieter than original. Works well so far

I rarely leave reviews and even more rarely leave a negative review but this one is frustrating to the point of compelling me to write about it. Ordered this part despite there being what appears to be equivalent and cheaper options available from other suppliers on Amazon. I thought to myself that Edgewater felt like a pretty reputable company because they had turned up as a supplier outside of Amazon as well, so thought..ok. I'll spend the extra $10 to $15 for peace of mind I'm getting a quality product. Not quite so. Day of delivery I grabbed the flimsy Amazon shipping bag and immediately noticed something was off because I felt the outline of the box but then also felt something heavy that had moved to the bottom of the bag as I held the top end. Uh oh..that's not good. I didn't order two things that could be shipped in the same bag...and sure enough, upon opening on my kitchen counter, my concerns were confirmed as the box was completely open at both ends, the drain pump was swimming around the bag outside of it's box and 3 pieces of the housing or clips had broken off as a result of the flimsy box, the flimsy shipping bag and the rough handling it has received in transit.I'm sure Amazon is going to blame the supplier for providing the unit in such a thin box and I'm sure the supplier is going to blame Amazon for not using a bubble wrapped bag or small shipping box with additional packing material and frankly..don't care who's fault it is. Being returned immediately and I'll likely not take the risk of a repeat situation (already indicated refund instead of replacement for return transaction) and just go with a more expensive outside of Amazon parts replacement source in hopes that they will take better care of shipping with care. Frustrating because I was looking to repairy dishwasher tonight, same day as I receivedy item but now I've got to delay that repair further and find a new source for the part and wait for their shipping, etc. Maddening.

Might be my inexperience but it felt like there was barely any magnetic pull which I think happens when they are worn out, video attached. Ended up not trying and just returning.
