These things ROCK! Excellent DAC for quick phone / laptop hookup!
The Hidizs S3 Pro Hi-Res DAC Dongle far exceeded my expectations! I also have their IEMs I ordered which will arrive today. Even though I have a custom molded set of IEMs that were $2k+, Somebody told me the Hidizs were good and cheap. I am a musician and have a recording studio with more gear than I can even mention. I have headphones of all types, open back, closed back, reference, and mastering. I also have high end DACs as well to insure music represents properly. When I saw this DAC on Amazon as a recommendation for the IEMs as an accessory, I figured I would grab them to allow a quick connection to my iPhone Pro Max. At the $49 current price, I was not expecting too much, but saw other reviews saying they worked well. Let me tell you, I plugged this into the iPhone and it immediately showed up and I specified I was plugging in headphones from the prompt. I put on some studio cans and I was blown away at how well this DAC works! I then plugged it into a M1 MacBook Air and again, plug and play. These sound insanely excellent! BUY THEM!

Powerful Sound From An Old Computer.
I fed my Dell laptop into my Ford F-150 Sony 6+1 sound system using this as the interface. The Dell is a surplus Precision model from the Gulf War with double cooling fans and 4TB solid state hard drives. The onboard sound card must have stayed behind because it didn't even crackle. So I fed the USB into the S9Pro and used the 3.5 mm standard jack to the Sony's AUX input. The sound was brilliant if not a little overpowered. Since I was on a 1000 mile drive, I actually found a Radio Shack and bought one of those 2.5mm micro headphone plugs and used the unbalanced output. Seems like the impedance worked perfectly with the Sony, not over-driving the bass and still giving separation I have never heard before in my truck.Overall, it is worth the investment. Give your sound system some time to allow the little card to burn in. after a few hours you can tune the sound to remarkable clarity. Since most system AUX inputs are unbalanced, you might want to add a micro-stereo to 3.5mm headphone adapter to help the overall impedance and eliminate distortion caused by excessive power. This small card made my old Dell sound like my home system which happens to be a Soundcraft recording studio. Money well spent.

Improved sound quality from phone tremendously
This DAC is super tiny, like a button dongle that doesn't get in the way. Sound quality is much better with it, well worth it if you want berrer sound

Worked fine but was not durable
The sound quality was good while it worked. After an year of usage it stopped working, tried with multiple earphones and headphones and get no sound output. My average usage was just about an hour on 3-4 days a week.

It is good and splendid audio until it is not
Small, portable good audio dac. Then all of a sudden there is this hiss sound in the left headphone after that the device was not usable.Worked for 3 or 4 weeks I think and then it was game over.......I didn't bother to send it back......Ordered 2 more and we will see how they will turn out......I will write another review sometime later this year probably

Buen Adaptador/Conversor... (Good Adapter/Converter...)
Buena Calidad, Sencillo, Pequeño, brinda más volumen y sonoridad...Lo inconveniente, el cable extensor/envoltura hay que cuidarlo, porque con el tiempo se dañará...(Good Quality, Simple, Small, provides more volume and sound...The inconvenient thing, the extension cable/wrap needs to be taken care of, because over time it will get damaged...)

Quality Balanced output in small size
Ive had this dac since release, ive paired this with multiple type c devices and the result is terrific. I use Poweramp app to play my locally stored music, the single ended 3.5 is pretty good but it is night and day with the balanced output. My 300ohm sennheisers get more power from this than my 02 amp could ever do. Currently using this with a Xperia 1 IV. The only slight con is slight distortion at max volume, but at halfway device volume it is very loud and perhaps a slight power hog as well.
