My husband bought this hat in anticipation of our son's wedding in July. When the hat arrived, he could not even wait to get inside with the package before tearing it open and putting on the hat to wear inside. I'll always remember the big smile he had as he walked through the door wearing this hat. He LOVED it! As some reviews mentioned, he did wear it and work with the inside band to help it fit and ride as he preferred. It looked great. He wore it everywhere. He even bought prescription sunglasses with a mirror finish to wear with this hat at the outdoor wedding. Sadly, my husband passed three weeks before the wedding. I kept our plans to drive to the wedding (about 400 miles away) and rode with his special hat on the center console, sometimes even wearing it myself. It even looks pretty good on me, and I'm fairly picky about hats. I like the solid feel of it when it sits on my head -- not too heavy, but not likely to blow off in a breeze. The leather and style is fashionable enough for an outdoor wedding as well as for wearing with jeans. My son and daughter-in-law included this hat on my husband's chair and at the remembrance table at the wedding, and I know my husband would have been so proud of it. I also took this hat with me for a girls' trip/remembrance tour roadtrip a few weeks after the wedding for what otherwise would have been our anniversary trip. My best friend and I traveled to places my husband and I enjoyed and that my friend had never experienced. We had a great time, and if the hat could talk, I think it probably did, too. The hat will see roadtrips in the future, and I'm grateful that I have it.

My head measured 60 cm, I got an XL. It'll stretch and be an excellent fit though.Tons of compliments on it in. More than once I was told that it looked good on me. I just got it yesterday, wore it out once.

Exactly what I was looking for. Great price, nice quality, real actual leather. Any other similar hat I found in my search was easily $70 or $100 more. Have to bend it a tiny bit to get the look you want, very easy to do though. Snag one ! You'll love it too.

Beautiful hat (I collect them!) But...it ran small.....so I exchanged for a med. It arrived smaller than the size "small". So now Im returning the Med.This hat is Stunning - too bad the manufacturer has zero quality control!My head is a standard 56.5 cm - which is usually a size small.Perhaps these are actually made in China?Poor interior craftsmanship.Not sure if I want to order another one in a large or ex large- I feel like Im jumping through hoops trying to find the correct size. It quite inconvenient returning them over and over! (sigh) good luck hat aficionados!

I get a lot of compliments on this hat. It is warm and sturdy. I sat on it once and it has no problem maintaining its shape. I will miss it when it warms up.

Either the size chart is off or we didn't measure correctly. Runs small is my guess.Very beautiful, looks good, heavy duty. It came well packed too. I was sorry to have to send it back.

I got mine in medium as per the chart. Perfect fit. However, the inner band is not removable as stated and the cardboard fitted inside for protection during shipping was actually from a box of frozen pizza. Hence the 4 stars. Other than that, it fits well, shapes well and has heft to it, yet stays on my head. Being a clockmaker, I decorated mine with clock hands.
