No other way to say it than the first thing you need to buy after buying a MK1 Rabbit is this manual. Has simple instructions for everything you need to do to keep your VW on the road.I've used it to replace litterally everything on my 81 Rabbit Pickup, suspension, CV axles, wheel bearings, literally everything. You can't own a rabbit and not have this in your garage.

I have owned several of these manuals, by Robert Bentley. They are great! This one arrived fast, in good condition! I have used it often. So, I couldn't be happier!

This is the perfect tool for anyone working on a rabbit truck. My son used it to pull his engine and break it down.

"The Bentley Book" a shop necessity. It has basically all the information necessary to keep your Mk1 going strong. Rebuilds, some limited troubleshooting and every torque specification, play adjustment, etc.

A must if you have an old VW. Use it on my 1981 VW truck. Very detailed and nice pictures. Helps me work on the truck myself and I never thought of myself as mechanical.

If you're looking at this, you likely know what it is. Bentley is the most detailed and useful guidebook there is to these cars. If you want to do more than basic maintenance like oil changes, this is a must-own.

It's great if all you want to know is about the engine. a lot of things I needed to know weren't covered. What it does cover, it does so very well.
