Works as described. Would be nice to have a bigger version that I could put my computer in. I have to wrench neck to the side to read my script.

Seems to work. Just make sure you face the opening towards a quiet area.

This really doesn't make any difference in the quality of the sound recording.

I write this because I find the low ratings are completely unjustified. The product does exactly what it's described to do. It improved my microphone quality. It's made of sturdy materials, has some serious weight to it and comes pre-assembled. It's even more effective than those stupid "professional reflection shields" people keep wasting money on.Don't expect this foam box to remove any and all reverb, noise from your air conditioner or traffic from your open window. It's not going to make you sound amazing if you're trying to record in the bathroom/kitchen. Use common sense and do some basic Googling/research. With that said, this product works exactly as advertised and improved my voice recordings/voice chats ten-fold all by itself.My setup is in the middle of the family living room. I simply put my microphone inside of it, stood it on a cheap little microphone stand and it immediately improved how I sounded to everyone. At this point, I still use it for voice chatting and haven't looked back.From a professional perspective, this box will not suddenly make you "sound professional" or like you're a commercial voice actor. When applied appropriately people will just say "you have a good microphone". On the other hand, it WILL improve your existing microphone setup. If you expect "professional" results, you need to do what the professionals do. Go to Google and learn to treat your entire room and build/buy a professional booth.

This was an unexpected gift that did more than I thought it would. The first time I used it I didn't know what to expect and it took me a while to get it together but once I got it set up I got the hang of using it. On my playback I noticed it got rid of that space noise from my microphone. In my videos I upload I noticed a difference in how I sounded. I wouldn't have thought to buy this for my self but now that I have a booth I wish I had gotten one some time ago.
