Works exactly as expected.Good strong magnet that makes attaching behind your back easy and holds up when going through rough terrain/brush.

I have bought and tried many different magnets. I don't use it for retaining fish nets. I use it to retain small industrial equipment to my backpack. This product is the strongest one to date. I use this magnet to hold a 1 pound scanning wand to my backpack strap. The wand stays attached when it gets bumped against a door or other obstacles and rarely detaches. The only issue is that upon first use, the magnet itself became detached from the housing/shell that the magnet sits in. A little super glue fixed this issue. The magnet is suppose to hold 7 lbs. of weight. I do question this claim. I attached the magnets to one gallon of water(7.7 lbs.) and the magnets detached. I removed approximately a quarter of the liquid and the magnets did not detach, but a little bumps caused the magnets to detach. I would probably say that 5 lbs. of holding power would be the upper limit. Cheers!

Strong magnet, does exactly what I wanted it for for us a quick release for a keychain three the rest of it away and I’ve never been fishing so?

I would give it 5/5 stars but I haven't used it yet fishing, but it looks pretty simple to use after setting it up on my fishing vest. Now I just have to catch fish.

bought this for my foldable net.. works perfect

I ordered 2 of these, and the first one failed when I tried to pull them apart. The glue should really be questioned in this assembly. Thankfully the 2nd one didn't pull out too.

Super strong magnet. The clips on the cord are a little clunky but the strength of the magnet makes up for it.
