AKASOWaterproof Case for EK7000/EK7000 Plus Action Camera

I originally purchased the AKASO EK7000 camera with excitement of being able to take photos and videos both on land and in water. I took the new camera on a beach trip with me soon after purchase and was heartbroken when the case broke during a stunt involving a kite. I ordered this product in means of replacement and was thoroughly disappointed. First off, the camera barely fits inside the new case. Next, the shape of the camera lens lining is slightly thicker, and it obscures the view of the wide angle shots. Along with those, opening and closing the camera is both a hassle and practically annoying, considering the racket it makes and the amount of immense pressure it takes to close. In fact, it doesn't even stay closed with the camera inside it. The pressure is too strong; To top it off, not at all on a minor level, is the fact that the power button on the case does not come anywhere close to the correct positioning on the camera. I did a lot of looking around. This is, by far, the biggest bang for your buck that I could find. The camera itself seems well made and does pretty much everything I could want. The interface is basic and very easy to use. The waterproof housing works well. I got it for a trip to the coast. I took it in the ocean and the pool. It got tossed around in the surf with no problems. The only thing that I would say is do get an anti-fogging solution. It did get a touch of condensation in the housing when in the surf, but even those pictures turned out pretty well. The remote control is a nice thing to have. Getting the pictures off the camera was also pretty easy. You can download an app and transfer the pictures to your phone via WiFi or manually with an SD card. Add in all of the attachments that come with it, and you are getting a ton for the price.

I love this thing I had a case when I bought the original camera same exact case I had an accident a couple of months ago the case took the brunt of the beating the camera is fine I’ve also taken it out to a mud run sealed perfect this is a good case

I have a waterproof case for diving and drilled a hole in the second case so the microphone can pick up sound for the one not used for diving.

Works as advertised.
