I love this flat iron. It heats up very quickly and straightens my hair in just one pass, so I don’t have to go over the same section many times and damage my hair. My hair is thick and frizzy, and it still leaves it smooth, shiny, and looking like I just left the salon.

Bought this as a gift and she says it’s great! She can do more hair at once and the fact that it is vented and lightweight makes a huge difference in temperature control and ease of use. it straightens her hair nicely.

Updated review after about a week: GREAT flatiron. Will not be returning. The power is amazing. The flat iron I replaced, I would have to make it 380ish to simply lightly straighten my hair. With the Dual Ionic, I can set it to 340 and get stick straight hair. I love this flat iron! ———————————————————- First impressions just upon opening package. Beautiful flat iron. Very high quality. I used to have the original Digital Babyliss flat iron. I haven’t had one in over a decade. I originally ordered the Digital version recently and seeing it in person I realized some design flaws I had forgotten about. The plates don’t float and it’s got short iron plates. I returned this for the Dual Ionic. MASSIVE difference in the plates and sleekness of the iron. The Dual Ionic plates are “floating” which means they compress and touch fully when pushed together. The plates on the Digital are stationary basically therefore the plates dont touch when fully closed shut. This is a big reason I had returned it. A good flat iron can seal when the plates touch. I have yet to use the iron but will update later. I have high hopes as I have owned an iron from them before, I know this brand is very reputable and also used by thousands of cosmologists world wide.

Love this flat iron! Heats up quickly, leaves my hair smooth and shiny, and works great even for travel. Totally worth it!

It straightens my fine curly hair well but has 2 main drawbacks that will keep me from buying this again when it needs replaced. One, it doesn’t have an auto shut off. And two, the plates are much closer to the edge than most other flat irons I’ve owned, resulting in scalp burns when I try to get close to my roots. If I can’t get to the roots then I end up with weird frizzy hair at the scalp.

I’ve been using this hair straightener for three years and it still works perfectly like it’s brand new. Good result! professional level tool. This is my 2nd time buying wet/dry iron product from babylissPro. I lost my old time few years ago at travel. I have tried so many other brands, all of them are just not as good as this product, not even close. Worths the money.
