Q: Is the rim of the pot and lid fully enameled with no exposed iron?

The rim and inside surface of the pot and lid do have a coating although it is black and looks like it is just bare iron. It comes with little plastic bumpers so that when you store it the lid can rest on the pot without them excessively rubbing against each other.
