Great little waterproof electrical box.
I used this on the roof of my motorhome to run wires from the solar panels to inside the RV. It's a bit smaller than I expected and you have to drill your own holes for the provided water tight fastenings. This slows you to just use the number of fastenings you need and put them where they work best. The lid has a thin soft rubber seal that is a little fussy but seems to work well. I really like the sturdy tabs that stick out on each end for fastening the box down. Each one has holes for two screws, so the four screws in the two tabs are very secure.

So far so good
Haven’t installed yet but so far looks good, going to use for my Rv solar instead of a solar gland. I think it will work great.

Great Abs box
Used to wire some I under counter lights. Perfect for my needs. Shame about the logo though.

Great weather resistant box.
I built a weather station and used this box to store the microcomputer and power boosters. I have three cable heads mounted in the box and I am very happy with the way they keep the water and dust out. The lid also has a rubber seal on it. We had a hail storm come thru our neighborhood and this box was not damaged. So I would say it was very sturdy. Can't say my house roof did. Very easy to drill and mount on a round post using a u-bolt.

Screws already rusting after a few weeks outside
I'm using this device to house a weatherstation controller I built. Overall, it is fine. A few notes:* It would be nice to have a detailed drawing of the mounting points in the backplate. It seems like you can screw into them with m3 screws and it holds decently well. However, with detailed drawings it would be easier to design mounting structure for electronics inside the box.* The screws are already showing surface rust after only a few weeks outside. None of the other stainless hardware on the weather station is showing any rust at all, which to me indicates that these screws are not stainless.* The grommets are REALLY tight. You will not be able to pass any cables with installed connectors through the grommets. I had to cut all my cables, then pass them through, then crimp/solder/attach new connectors on the other side.Other than that fine I guess. This box ended up causing a lot of work and I would probably try to find something different next time.

works as a solar cable entry gland
I was having a difficult time finding an entry gland for my solar panel cables that would fit between the ridges and troughs on my van roof. This little box did the trick! It comes with 4 entry gizmos that are waterproof, I used 2 of them and the lid has a rubber gasket and is screwed onto the box. I used eternabond tape to adhere it to the roof of the van and decided to cover the entire box with the stuff. I figured the screws were the weak spot, so they are covered for eternity. So far so good!
