Aufero Portable Laser Engraver, Mini Laser Cutter and Engraver Machine for Wood and Metal, 32-bit Motherboard LaserGRBL(LightBurn), Eye Protection Fixed-Focus, 7.1'' x 7.1'' Engraving Area(LU2-4-SF)

I had previously bought 3 different laser engravers, different brands. One worked for approx 30 hours; one worked for 70 hours and a third sorta worked after (but not really) after much trial and error.I bought this Aufero LU2-4-SF in Feb 2023 and have used it continuously ever since. I waited 6 months to write a review because of my experiences with the other 3 engravers.After 6 months of daily use, here is what I've found:It engraves beautifully, giving crisp, fine lines with little or no burn areas. One of my customers was amazed by the detail on a bookmark he received. Also, It engraves pictures of people nicely. "Wooden Portraits".It cuts through 3mm wood like a charm. I generally set it for 3 passes which takes approx 4 to 12 minutes depending on the intricacy of the design.I highly recommend this laser engraver. It's quick, gives detailed engravings, cuts through wood crisply and quickly. I definitely would buy this engraver again.

Was very impressed from the moment we opened the box. Product was very well protected in custom closed cell foam packing. In fact, packing was so nice we use it inside a HF Apache 4800 protective case for transport or storage when not in use. Trim that packing foam a little and it fits the case very well. All the pieces appear to be well made and of high quality. Set up was so simple that we had practice projects going in just a few minutes. Definitely recommend this for anyone, including first time beginners.

The learning curve is very steep. The so-called instructions (online, not printed) are useless. Get ready to spend some time watching YouTube videos just figuring out how to use it. Once you figure it out, it’s works pretty good. Keep in mind that this is an entry level machine. The engraving/cutting area is small, so don’t plan on large project with this unit.

Very dissapointing and frustrating because two different machines, and two returns later I still couldn't do my project . These machine didn't work on stainless steel as the description says. Not only cost me time, but also money I lost on a job.

As I stated I'm retired and always had a interest in a laser engraver. I looked on line for a while and decided on the Aufero Laser 1 LU2-4SF.There are plenty of UTUBE movies to learn from, I'm using GRBL Laser app.I have time to learn and play.Thank You.

Love this little laser. I use it for on demand magnets and name plaques at shows. It is fantastic.

great little laser perfect for small projects or beginner laser users. Works seamless with lightburn.

There's some dust in the laser shield from where it was previously used, as well as there's corrosion on one of the screw ports up top. Also, there was a screw just shaking around in the rail. I think I know where it goes, but I'm not sure anymore.
