What a surprise! Makes a great espresso. Very strong espresso taste, really surprised. Simple and straight forward. Just be cautious when screwing the end with the hot water back onto it's counterpart, twist the body, not the cup. Two thumbs up. Keep you up to date on durability.

I bought this for my husband to take underway on his submarine and he uses it frequently. This produces quality espresso shots and is convenient and easy to use. His only complaint is that it will only do one shot of espresso at a time but it has made others envious on the boat. Would totally order another for backpacking.

Unfortunately the pump went out on me the 2nd time I tried to use it. I'd say I maybe got a bad egg, but another review mentioned what sounds like the same sort of problem. The time that I got it to work I was pretty pleased with it. Seemed like a nice sturdy device, but unfortunately the pump didn't seem to be. If you're looking to drink a straight shot of espresso it would probably do the trick, but I found the shot to not be strong enough to properly flavor a latte.

Product did not work out of the box. Internal components were all broken when opening the water reservoir and coffee grind area. Also this product does not work with nuspresso. Was a budget buy in place of the $49.00 nuspresso coffee maker.

This is a god-send for my espresso connoisseur hubby when he travels. Easy to use - and the result is an espresso with an impressive crema. This is a must for an espresso-loving traveler!

I love a large latte in the morning and on my recent camping trip I was able to make one. Only wish I could make a bigger cuppa at once..had to make to servings to get the size of coffee I wanted, but as I said well worth it.

The device operates as described by functional statements made in advertisement.Some things to be aware of-grind size is material to functionality. Too small of grinds will first make drawing a shot very difficult and make cleaning difficult too. The device leaked when attempted to use it after grinding coffee too fine but operated without problem after more thorough cleaning.-nozzle leaks after use as it is difficult to clear all fluid from device. I've found that the provided cup makes for a good drip catch as I already have espresso cups and don't need it for that use. I have not found this to impede actual functionality of the device.

A month before the hiking trip, i was looking for a portable coffee machine. I purchased this espresso machine and gave it a try. It tried it out for 2 weeks, one cup per day. I was trying to practise the procedure to make a coffee before I was in the back country. The coffee aroma was good and taste was ok. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks, the pump suddenly no longer working. I returned it.
