Elacra Glass Food Storage Containers Oven Safe Microwavable BPA-Free Spill Proof Airtight Lids (8 Pack)

Ordered the borosilicate glass food containers from Elacra about a month ago and have been very pleased with the purchase. I These containers compare well with the original Pyrex containers that were also (but no longer) made with borosilicate. (If you have not done so, educate yourself about the difference between borosilicate glass and soda lime glass.) I have used these Elacra containers extensively, exposing them to both heat and cold, and even inadvertently dropping one onto a tile floor with no detrimental effects. I do wish the smaller (11 oz) glass containers were a bit larger to accommodate more, and that there were more sizes from which to choose. My initial concern when purchasing was with the lids, but I have been pleased with their quality and function. The lids do take a moment to center on the glass containers, but once centered, fit well and provided a seal that is leak-proof. The lids appear to be well made and have proven durable so far. I recommend these containers to anyone wishing to use glass containers with sealable lids.

The seller sent a very informative PDF about the product. One of the lids arrived broken (one of the fasteners was broken off), but the rest of them are in great shape. I like how they lock down on the container so that you know your food is secure. The containers don't feel as heavy as other glass containers that I have purchased.

SO, SO HAPPY with this purchase! I wasn't finding the kind of glass storage container I really wanted. Pyrex quality has slipped over the years, and I'm sure you saw some of the other reviews on Amazon of bowls that actually shattered after coming out of the oven and talk about being afraid to order new glass storage. Then I found Elacra Glass containers and the reviews and loved that 8 pcs WAS 8 storage containers.I love the different sizes and am shocked at how much food they hold! I LOVE the little raised 'feet' on the bottom and honestly was the perfect final touch. The lids are THICK, STRONG, and I can feel suction as I lock the lids down. Great value and I WOULD totally buy any size set they made! SOooOOoo, make them even bigger! ;) Thank you, Elacra! GREAT product.

The lids don't stay closed and don't fit quite right. The side flaps won't all stay down at the same time. You close one side and the other side will flip open. They do not travel well in a cooler because of that. I should have returned them but I didnt have time to mess w a return

I bought a single one glass container like these over in Korea many years ago. At that time there was nothing like it over here, finally a few years ago I found a plastic version. Very quickly I figured out they were meh. I was just snooping around on amazon when I ran into these, when I realized they were glass and not way over priced, I figured I would give them a shot.So far they are working very well. I like the glass so much more than plastic. They are very well made and durable. I am very glad I went ahead and tried this product.

The clips on the plastic lid on large container broken upon first use so the container would not seal. Glass bowl part is sturdy and the color coordinated lids are a nice feature but I was very disappointed in the quality of the lids. I am returning these.

Arrived damaged😕

I ordered these because a blog I follow showed they were on sale. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed when they arrived. One of my lids came broken, and most of the other kids would not even snap onto the container. The containers themselves were made of a nice thick glass, and the couple of containers I received that were in working order never leaked. I emailed the company and Raquel responded quickly and efficiently. She was so apologetic about my experience and offered a replacement as soon as the containers were back in stock. Once they were, she emailed me a code and I ordered a new set. I am pleased to report that I had no issues at all with the new set! I regularly microwave in these containers and have used them in my Instant Pot sans lid, but have not tried them in the oven. I understand sometimes manufacturing issues arise, so I can't really blame the company for that, and they rectified the issue wonderfully, so I have no issue giving a 5 star review.
