I Recommend this for Honda Elements and easy install
I have a Honda Element (2004) First time they tried to steal my Catalytic Converter they were spooked. I had the security bars installed. Second time it stopped them from cutting. Third time they unbolted the whole thing. I was frustrated and needed to find something to help protect it better. Browsing through YouTube I found this product. The Cat Security is sturdy and well made. Shipment was quick and instructions are easy to follow. I suggest that if you the install yourself to make sure you have a friend with you (helps) and you can jack up your car high enough to do the work under it. Installation went well with little issues (having to bend the drive shaft bar was the toughest). We were able to do the work in about an hour and that's with breaks. I do suggest that for the Rivit Gun you have one that is angled and not strait due to the amount of room you have.Great product, good instructions, peace of mind. Highly recommend it

Unfortunately nearly a necessity for a Honda Element
Obtained after some aspiring NASCAR pit-crew types hacked off my catalytic converter from my Element. Only wish it came with a bear trap or exploding blue dye features.

Protect you Cat!
The instructions for installation were clear and well written. I was able to install this product with tools that I already owned. It fits nicely underneath my 2008 Honda Element.

youll need a mechanic to install it and thats like an extra 200 dollars due to special tool
what i dont like is the mechanic that installed it in mine did it to much to the left that they had to adjust it and it hits metal to metal so you can hear it when I stop. make sure they install it correctly. the banging dented a little bit of my converter so now you don't hear it as much and it was not too bad it was like little tap at a time nothing damaging it just had to wear out till it didn't hit no more with the vibration. but other than that I feel so much safer and better that its installed. i can now sleep at night.

So Far so good.
After my catalytic converter was stolen from my driveway, I decided to get this. The reviews were very good. This thing looks cool, but I'm going to steal (pardon the pun) from another review... "This gets 4 stars, 5 if it works". I am recommending these for everyone who I can inform. I figure ANY deterent is better than none.

Best cat security product, in my opinion
I have a Honda Element, number 2 in the stolen cat department behind the Prius. Thieves need to jack up the Prius, not the Element, to cut off the cat, but Prius cats have more of the precious metals and they get more money for them. I looked at several products and felt this one was the best constructed and provided excellent security. I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend the time it would take to defeat this system. It's not worth it to the thieves. I had my mechanic install it and was charged for an hour of labor. Good investment!

I sleep better now.
My mechanic had never installed one before but with the instructions with pictures that came in the set he was able to do so in less than an hour with no problems. No rattles, no funny smells so I have no complaints and converter has not been stolen. Found myself looking under every Element to see if they had anything installed. Felt kind of funny about approaching people in a parking lot asking if they had any converter protection on their car before mine was installed since I was afraid they would think I was casing cars for future thefts.

Nice fit
Nice fit, no rattle with OEM fit CAT.Hint: if you have a 4wd, the heavy duty rivit gun recommended in the manual will not complete the job. The drive shaft will be in the way for it to work. Just get a cheap $20 hand river gun from Home Depot. It can get into tight spaces. The heavy duty rivet gun is only needed in the 2wd model where you have to use 1 bigger steel rivit, the 4wd uses factory bolts.
