What I wanted

I'm deciding if I should keep these or return and look for a replacement. I need to replace the brown tortoise-shell pattern buttons lost or broken on a windbreaker, and at the same time was willing to spend a little more to get a selection of buttons to keep in the sewing kit for future use. These are good quality, they include 3 sizes including one that will do for the windbreaker project, but I really needed a range of brown tortoise-shell effect, and what I received was even less variety than the pictures in the Amazon listing. I may go for "90Pcs Faux Buffalo Horn Suit Coats Buttons 5 Color 3 Size (15MM, 20MM, 25MM) for Jacket Sleeves and Pants Sport Coat Uniform by Renashed ( 5 Color )" instead, as those seem to have a wider range of brown tortoise shell pattern than what I ordered, even though they have buttons of other colors as well. Or look further at other Amazon entries. By the way, if this sounds like I really should go to a brick-and-mortar store and pick out something that suits, I had tried that with the local Joann Fabric. But their selection was worse, nothing suited, and the price for four buttons was half that of this set from Amazon.

This is a nice set of good quality buttons. The colors are exactly as pictured.

Just plastic. Not actual horn like they are designed to look, so I returned them and bought the real thing
