Favorite makeup sponge
This just feels quality foam, and I find the shape easy to hold, easy to maneuver to blend with - the most favorite makeup sponge I have ever used!

Worth your money!
This sponge is better than I expected it to be! When I use it, I run it under water and then squeeze out the excess so it is not soaking wet, but damp. And it does expand quite a bit as well once damp. I feel like it is softer and has more bounce than my real techniques sponge, but I would say that they blend the same (I am actually preferring this one as of now). I use this sponge for my foundation and concealer, and it works great. I wash it after every use, and have had no problem with it tearing or anything like that. For a drugstore sponge, it has held up better than I thought it would. Glad I gave it a try!

One of the better drugstore beauty sponges
I bought this about a year ago as I was just getting into beauty sponges for makeup application. It worked really well for me and I figured 'ok, this is fine, drugstore sponges work, no need to go high-end.' However, I have since discovered that this L'Oreal sponge is really a standout among its drugstore peers. Most are not this good. I still refuse to pay $20 for a sponge, but I've since discovered another affordable dupe on a specialty site, which has become my gold standard. With that being said, that site sells out a lot and if I was ever in a pinch, my backup would be this sponge. Reliable, affordable, easy to find, easy to replace.Note that it may start breaking apart after as few as 12-15 uses, but that is what happens with cheaper sponges that are actually soft. IMO: better a soft sponge that actually blends but eventually crumbles, than a hard sponge that just pushes makeup around your face.

Favorite makeup sponge, all brands considered
This is my favorite makeup sponge, I honestly like it just as much as the beauty blender and this comes in at such a better price. I also prefer this over the real techniques sponges (those have a great texture and can be found even cheaper when the combo packs go on sale, but they irritate my skin somehow), and I also do prefer this over any of the many other brands' beauty blender style sponges I've tried. The L'Oreal one looks like maybe it won't be soft enough at first, but when you add water it definitely does expand quite a bit and get softer, and (most importantly) it applies various types of foundation, concealer, and other liquid products really well when damp. It also can handle quite a few deep cleanings before it starts developing small tears, as long as you're mindful of your fingernails. It's definitely worth trying one at the amazon price.

Best sponge
This sponge is way firmer than the beauty blender so I like it much better. I used to be able to find this everywhere but now I can’t. Are they discontinuing it?

Amazing product and even better price!
Ever since I discovered the beauty blender a couple years ago, I’ve been hooked. But these sponges are not meant to last forever, and honestly the price of the beauty blender is a little steep for a sponge. I’m trying to cut back on expenses so I decided to give this one a try. Oh my goodness, this is even better than the beauty blender in my opinion and it’s a much better price. I’m definitely not going back, and suggest that anyone who is thinking of switching to a different sponge to give this one a try!

Exceeded my expectation
This really exceeded my expectations. I love this beauty sponge. I've tried several other brands (including the Beauty Blender which is too expensive for a sponge) and this one works great! It's soft and has the perfect shape to it to get closer to the eyes. It does not absorb too much foundation and blends it in perfectly. Would definitely recommend!
