SERIOUSLY - Most complete reference available today.
I have used the previous iterations of a similar timetable for decades which has since ceased publication. When I first saw this new, version available from this new publisher, I was stoked. When I received the timetable I was blown away. This at least twice as much content as previously published and the data is so much comprehensive! The editor is a former SP dispatcher and it shows. This is legit and any rail-centric person would be highly remiss to not snag this compendium up.Money well spent and "kudos" to Mr. Bernstein and crew.

Packed with information
I had mourned the demise of Altamont Press and their California timetables, but I've found a very worthy successor! I am thrilled to say the King Street Press California timetable far surpasses Altamont in quantity of information, quality of information, far better explanations, more maps of areas of interest, and timetables of public rail lines. This is a much thicker timetable than Altamont, but well worth it - it'll still fit in a camera bag or fill up your back pocket.Well Done and Highly Recommended !

Very useful book
Detailed maps of major rail yards, radio freq in use, etc. Good coverage of short lines and interchange points. Some short line maps include customer names, street names, and very useful material. The book also provides code interpretation for BNSF UP trains.Worth the $ if you follow California railways

Great RR Reference tool
This a terrific compendium of information covering the railroads of California. Includes information, Sub-division by Sub-division in timetable format (like employee timetables) and includes maps and radio communication information as well. Well worth the price.

Best ever, Complete coverage of the California rail system
I have a number of timetables that together doesn’t add up to the information contained in California timetable number one.

Interesting Book
What's not to like about of this book? I would have preferred to have different binding so the book would have laid out flat but otherwise a great reference source!
