This is a solid swing seat it's made out of good good quality natural materials, the wooden seat is beautifully finished it has rounded off edges to make it more safer to use , no sharp edges or chances of splinters, the workmanship that has gone into making this swing is excellent, the finish is superb too , which makes it just as good to use indoors or outdoors.The swing is quite heavy, it's not the lightest and it's certainly not the cheapest, but some of the cheaper swings lack in quality and durability, where as you can tell this swing will last a long time if looked after.The rope is thick and looks really nice and natural, it's quite a plain design overall but it gives it a retro and rustic natural look about it , it would look really nice under a tree in a garden to sit and swing on a hot summers day.The seat is quite wide at 55cm and very strong, it can hold up to 200kg ,so it's designed to hold a lot of weight , the carabiners, buckles and fixings are all thick and robust and look strong and made to last.At just under £50 at the time of review I think the price is fare for a solid seat swing like this , the quality and craftsmanship is superb, I wouldn't mind paying that bit extra for an item when you can tell a lot of care has gone into making it.It's a good solid and well made swing , I think it's worth the money.

The quality of this swing is surprisingly good, with a solid, well polished wooden seat and well spliced rope for strength.The swing is roughly around two metres hign so allowing for the height of users it needs to be hung around 2.5 to 3m from the ground.The swing is ideal for kids and for those adults that still like to be kids. It a nice quality product that will bring many hours of fun, if not days or weeks..The rope itself is a quality rope that is thick enough to secure a boat the size of a small trawler or even be used as a tow rope for a truck so one can feel safe when swinging with this as both the seat and the rope can easily handle the weight of more then one adult with no stress on them whatsoever.This swing comes with two bolts and two caribeners but as the rope is already noosed the swing can simply be mounted on a crossbar without any work involved.sadly, summer is over, the wet weather is here and winter is drawing in so it's going to be some months before this swing gets to see some action yet given the quality of both the rope and the seat I am very confident that this will be well used throughout the spring time and the summer of next year.I am recommending this swing as it really is very good quality and will last a long, long time so it's also good value.

I was a bit surprised by the price of this swing at just shy of £60, having bought a wooden swing with man-made fibre ropes to put in one of our trees for my nephews to use for less than £20 during the Summer. There is an appreciable difference in quality, though – as well as in load bearing capacity. This swing is made with natural fibre ropes, and the seat is constructed from a combination of pine and beech, with a larger load bearing capacity. It’s more sustainable than our older swing, and the seat is appreciably chunkier. Our older swing has a maximum recommended load of 70kg (a little over 11 stone), the seat for this swing can support more than double that (as long as whatever its attached to is similarly capable).The swing and fixings are well made and sturdy. We added this to another tree, so that two of my nephews can now swing at a time, and installation is not difficult. However, I was a bit surprised to find that there were no instructions in the box with this. I don’t know if this is normal, or just an accidental omission affecting the particular set I received.

This is just a great swing.It comes well packed in a plain cardboard box.Inside the box the swing has the fixings in a separate bag to avoid scratching of the wooden seat of the swing.The fixings are really well made and shouldn't have any problems with the advertised load capacity of 160kg or 200kg.The title says 160kg while on other places it says 200kg,but in both cases the swing is good quality made and should be fine with a single adult or kid.The wooden seat is really well polished and covered with varnish.The rope is pretty thick and looks sturdy made.The length of the rope is really easy adjustable ,which is really good.Regarding the instructions that are missing in the box of other customers - same here.There are no instructions and I also had to go back to the Amazon product page to check how the carabiners have to be attached on the rope,but that was just to be 100% sure that I was doing it right as kids will use it.The price of the swing at the moment is £54.99 ,which is a good price for a good quality swing like this.Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

What lovely quality!Very large seat, two children could sit on this together.The seat is solid wood, sturdy and thick. It can be reliable upon and will stand the test of time even when left out in the elements.It has a smooth vanished finish and it very comfortable to sit on so it won’t be giving anyone any splinters.Comes with all the fittings necessary you just need to find a strong tree or a metal pole to attach the seat too.The rope is very thick and hardy, again it has been made with longevity in mind.It’s a beautiful addition to any home with children, at £58.99 it seems steep but you are talking about a swing that will last you unlike some of the plastic counterparts. and it will undoubtably end up being one of those unforgettable childhood memories for your children..
