Poorly written book
Quite disappointing book about such interesting subject. First, Chapters 5 & 6 would benefit from pictures or drawings of individual hydroponic systems, but there is not a single illustration! Second, there are lots of basic typos and misinterpretations, such as P stands for phosphorus, not phosphate, TDS is Total Dissolved Solids, not 'Total Desired Salts' and low pH has high hydrogen content, not low as the author suggests. Third, recipes for nutrient mixtures don't make any sense: for example on page 89, mixture of all salts, yielding 256 pounds would be hard to mix with four gallons of water and would definitely not yield 4 liters after mixing. The books like this should not be issued without editing by at least one expert, knowledgeable in the field.

Awesome guide.
This is a well detailed guide for who wants to set up their first hydroponic garden. Different systems like ebb and flow, water culture, or the wick, whichever you decide you can learn all about them. You will find fundamentals, required tools, and materials, and step by step instructions and valuable tips, nutrient solutions, recipes that you can't find anywhere else but this book. Growing techniques, prevent pests and diseases parts will make your effort worth it so you can enjoy your first hydroponic salad without a headache. This is a complate guide, Highly recommended!

Print-on-demand drivel, and so many false stars...
This book is...bad. The content is okay, I may have learned a few things, but there are no illustrations or diagrams. In my opinion, diagrams are particularly important in a topic involving piping, construction, water levels, all that good stuff. The writing is perfectly abysmal, a chopped-up style like a bad high school essay ("what I am about to tell you is..." "I hope you now understand that..." Or one of those click-bait how-to articles mostly copied from Wiki.Strange, but the gibberish syntax, "English as a second language" grasp of usage, spelling, and homonyms is v-e-r-y similar to the five-star reviews that artificially inflated this poorly written, ill-thought waste of $16. So if you want a sense for the writer's fourth-rate style, sort these reviews by number of stars. I feel cheated.

You can do better
No pictures in the Kindle Edition. I can't say if the paper copy is better, but after reading the Kindle version, I have no desire to find out. My general impression is that it is compiled information that can be found readily on the web with some searching. The fertilizer recipe seems seriously sketchy to me, but I'm not an expert (part of the reason I bought the book, naturally). I got a 30 year old copy of Muckle's Basic Hydroponics and I feel that it is much better value for money.

This one very not good!
Absolutely atrocious English. This book was not written by someone with English as their first language. No pictures and a rough read. Looked to me like someone hobbled information from other books to write this. I simply couldn't make it through this one, there are grammatical errors in almost every paragraph.

This is a great way to improve on your garden
This is a great way to improve on your garden, or get started on one if you haven't already. I really like planting and gardening using soil but only to find out that you can able to plant without using soil. Hydroponics is really essential and good way of growing your plant effectively and efficiently. There's also step-by-step instructions that will help you learn how to use every one of the methods. This is a very clear and simple rundown of hydroponics, and is a great starting point for anyone to use. I am glad to read this book for knowing about everything related to Hydroponics.

Great guide
Hydroponic gardening is simply growing without soil. This book explains everything you need to know about organic hydroponic gardening solutions, a method that can transform the way we grow the vegetables we eat on a regular basis. This book will help you to learn about the various kinds of hydroponic systems and what equipment is necessary to have an effective hydroponic garden. This book provides everything you need to know. I try my very best to make the information here easy to understand, yet very helpful.

Extremely vague and repetitive. Full of poor grammar.
I couldn't get through more than 30% of this short book. It is extremely repetitive and basic and poorly written to the point that I had to stop reading. For example at one point it tells you that water is so important to plants because they 'are used to water being around them' and 'how would you feel if our planet had zero water and you were thirsty'. The same benefits and requirements are explained probably 5-10 times each in such a rambling way it became onerous to read...

I do not recommend this book
This book started off as an interesting read. The first couple of chapters are fairly well written; however, once I got to the portion of the book describing the construction of the different systems I found the book very poorly written. The instructions for building the different systems are very confusing and full of mistakes. I think the inclusion of some pictures or diagrams would help as well as a review of the construction steps. I do not recommend this book.
