Made from high quality, stretchy and comfortable 3mm double lined neoprene, these neoprene beanie hats are ideal for keeping you warm in wet and windy conditions. They are very popular with our open water swimming customers and are can be worn in place of or under a silicone swimming cap for extra warmth on cold days. With an elastic trim for a secure hold around the head, these neoprene beanies are tight fitting to limit cold water getting in. Comes in a choice of two sizes: Large: 55-57CM To find if this will fit; measure around your head, just above the eyebrows.

Doesnt feel like a large
This hat is lovely, warm and well-made. But it is too small for my head and long hair. Unfortunately, there is no extra large as that would have been perfect for me.

Clearing the air of size and fit
It's possible that the manufacturer has changed their process and that older reviews may not match experience with new orders. But there seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding this product and the size/fit. Here's my experience: Male, 5'10" 185lbs. 58cm (22 and 3/4 in) head (max, just above eyebrows). I ordered large (L). The hat is exactly what it should be for a neoprene beanie. Just snug. Snugger than you'd like a normal hat, but not too snug. Just right to not fall off in waves, etc. The fit/cut is also very good for the money. Some reviews say it's square, boxy, etc. Barely, maybe. It's not a perfect shrink-wrap on your head, but it's not a six-panel cut, or anything sophisticated. It has seams. But for the price, it's right on. Best way to size these is this: Fold a normal winter hat flat and measure the band/brim. This product measures 27cm (just over 10.5 inches) along the brim/band. Remember that if you measure a normal polyester or cotton hat, they stretch on your head. I have one here and it measures 25cm (almost 10 inches) flat. So, if you're in the 58cm head range, and you can measure a winter hat you like that measures about 25cm as described above, you can be confident that large will work for you. It is snug, so if you're say 57cm this would still work. I'd say <57cm and you'd be looking at a Medium. But that might be quite snug. 56cm is definitely in the M range I'd say. Also, if your head is much bigger than 59cm, Large would be quite tight!

Good quality just a little bit small

Average?
Not what I was hoping for. Size is quite small and uncomfortable. The stitching makes it an odd shape as in it is not Circular but rounded on one side coming to a stitched point. Have no use for this unfortunately.

Beanie
This is a great value neoprene hat, bought for my husband but his noggin was too big so given to a friend which it fits perfectly, great addition to any wild swim kit

Keeps your head warm
Wet suit beanie should really just be hat. It doesn't sit totally snug all ober and has a few 'nobbles' sticking out.I brought it for a winter wolf run. It did help to keep me super warm. But it didn't really look the part. Most of the photographers avoided pointing their cameras at me and only photographed my running partner. I'm sure this was because of my hat and nothing to do with me being male, plump and middle aged; and my running mate being the exact opposite.
