Well, these are certainly heavy duty. However, I have read more than a few reviews about damaged product. I only ordered 1 pair to evaluate if this would work well for what I want. Like I said, they are certainly strong at first look. I am a bit concerned about the amount of plastic I see for long term. Unfortunately, the 1 pair I ordered arrived with damage as can be seen in the pictures. There is an adjuster on the back that was completely broken off and missing from the left rail. One small piece fell out of the packaging when I removed the plastic from the rails. The other pieces were not even there meaning that is was damaged when it was wrapped. So, carefully examine everything when you get it. Also, there are no screws or instructions of any kind. All you get it the rails. The instructions (very complex) are available on the internet.

For the last 15 years I've kneeled down on the hard kitchen floor... looking in the lower cabinet for the tupperware top that fits the container. After 10 minutes of rummaging, I have sore knees and back... and of course come up empty handed. So, I made my own shelves and used these slides to make slide out shelves. I still don't find the proper container tops/bottoms... but at least I don't have to be on my hands and knees.This slide kit is REALLY nice. Very smooth and quiet. I made six shelves for three cabinets. I used 1/2" quality plywood ($34/4x8 sheet). So, I ended up spending about $75 per cabinet. I spent a lot of time designing the shelves because I was worried about the relatively small tolerances in the width of the shelves. All six shelves fit fine the first time, so maybe the tolerances aren't quite as tight as I thought.My cabinets have a center post. I cut this out and attached it to one of the doors. This allowed me to have full width shelves. The slides hold up to 100 lbs. Most shelves have between 35-75 lbs. One shelf (pots/pans) is probably holding more than 100 lbs. This shelf moves a little slower than the others, so I'm not sure how long it will last. Be careful to level the slides so that they slide out as easily as they slide back in.Also, a major annoyance was the order for the rear mount brackets: if you order one slide kit you get the right and left slides; if you order one "locking device" you get the right and left locks; if you order one rear mount... you get ONE rear mount (shipping is about $6 per order)!!!

Installing these has been a complete nightmare dragging on for weeks on end. The first order arrived as an empty box with a huge hole in the end. Way to go, UPS.Nobody noticed that?? Amazon sent a replacement promptly.We watched a dozen youtube videos and downloaded spreadsheets from the blum website to make sure we had the right components for our cabinet. Everything you need to install has to be ordered separately, so good luck figuring that out. Too late we discovered our pair of slides was not even a matching pair. Yep we got two different style slides (maybe one is an older model?) which only led to more frustration. I can't fault blum for this but whoever packaged these together for sale dropped the ball. I would have returned these and tried a third time but the return window had closed by the time we noticed it. We ended up having to build a new drawer totally from scratch to make these work. So we have one smooth fancy drawer in our kitchen now but will not be ordering these again.Seems like a lot of people love these and had no problems but for me it has been the worst diy project EVER!!!

I replaced old non-soft closing Blum slides with these Blum soft closing and it was incredibly easy. I bought just the "runner pair" and took the old ones out, leaving the cabinet bracket and the drawer locking devices in place. The new soft close slides fit in exactly the same as the old ones and used the same screw holes. It took about 5 minutes to do each drawer.

Our custom cabinet maker blamed the poor performance of the drawer closing on our previously existing frame. He said we should have paid him to build a new frame. Well, his cabinets doors didn't properly close either. So, I bought Blum hinges and voila, the doors now closed perfectly. I repeated with the Blum slides and we have a winner! The drawers that wouldn't close because of a "bad" frame now close perfectly. I installed these myself, and I'm not a carpenter by any means. We learned our cabinet guy was a complete liar and Blum makes terrific products.

Product is fine, shipping was terrible.I bought this to replace a damaged rail. It arrived in a box that was far too big, had no packing in it whatsoever, and looked like it had been through the wringer, so it's no surprise the plastic adjustment tabs on both rails were broken off. If the pieces arrived intact, this would have been a 5 star review. Since I was able to adjust them with some pliers before installing and therefore this was not a complete waste of my time, it gets the second star.

I purchased the drawer glides along with the Blum locking device, they both arrived quickly. It turned out I didn't need them after all, just a minor adjustment to what I had. I decided however to keep the set to have on hand for any future emergencies, just in case so I wouldn't have to mount another search. I have been very happy with this hardware on my cabinets, I didn't build this house so I wasn't familiar with the brand. I have built 3 homes in my lifetime and have always spent a fortune on kitchen and bath hardware and none of it has preformed as well as this brand. If I build another home, I'll use this brand.

The drawer slides arrived without instructions or the required locking components that I thought were included. Installation wasn't difficult after I fooled around for a while to determine the proper positioning. The installation was delayed for a few days while waiting for the locking devices to arrive. Once I had all the parts and installed the slides, they work fine.

Product was easy to install and it operates very smoothy. only time will tell but should be okay. Would buy again. Had a little issue with extra UPS charges. Amazon rectified everything in a most efficient manner. I am happy customer. Thanks Amazon. Percy
