Really nice hair tie adds class to basic pull back hair

I am in my 70's and have long silver-grey hair. I generally wear it pulled back and occasionally wear it down. But as I have a few special events coming up, I needed to find way to elevate my style. After striking out twice with "messy bun" hair pieces (they looked like a dead animal on my head) I decided to give these embellished scrunchies a try. To say I am pleased is an understatement. As my hair is thin I am able to wrap this scrunchie around twice, and it holds my ponytail in place without an additional, smaller hair tie. The overall look is dressy/fun and having these on hand eliminates all stress about how to style my hair for special occasions. As far as these pulling out hair, that has not been an issue for me whatsoever. By removing the scrunchie carefully, vs just yanking it out, I may lose a hair or two, the same as with any scrunchie. I don't know how durable these will be over time but they appear to be well constructed. And considering you get three in a package, I think it's a great deal.

But your hair will get tangled

I really thought these were cute, BUT, if you have thick hair they are very small & tight. Luckily since I’m 70, my hair has thinned & they will work for me. Again, they are quite pretty, but the elastic is small. Thick hair probably won’t work.

Gives a nice look to a plain ponytail. Does not pull on the hair. Hold nicely.

my hair is thin and for these to work they would have to stretch enough to wrap twice. but the elevator is so tight that it won’t stretch enough to do that. my hair is long so i tried wrapping my hair in a double width strand to see if i could just slip it on but doesn’t stretch enough to get over a thick bunch of hair.really if no use whatsoever. if you can’t double wrap sure can’t be used for children’s hair either as it’s too big to stay in as is.sad because it’s very pretty and was exactly what i wanted for a pony tail.

Doesn’t work well for fine hair.
