I played this solo, and loved every minute of it. This is an amazing game.

Amazing game me and my wife played for hours

I’m giving this a 4-star rating only because the internal tray arrived broken. This is less of a "game" and more of a profound experience. Rather than just looking for traditional gameplay mechanics, the real joy comes from following its deep, immersive story. Visually, it is stunning, and I found myself completely overwhelmed by its unique and captivating atmosphere. It is truly a wonderful game, but the shipping experience was disappointing. Since the box is quite heavy—filled with many miniatures and a substantial storybook—I wish more care had been taken with the packaging and shipping.

Great alternative to PC games

The product is great. I like it very much.

The game is wonderful to play, but several cards arrived dented or bent, and some papers were starting to tear.

Game box arrived unceiled, barcode sticker glued directly on the cover of the box. Box was obviously opened before. Inside the inlay cover is damaged, items were spread around in the box. A set of cards is missing; the "don't change order of these cards"-pack was opened and distributed randomly in the box; one of the miniatures is damaged. Several cards have been used before, maybe just for unpacking, but scratches occurred on the edges of the cards. Return and refund requested (still pending).

Juegazo, es la versión 1.0. Me aventuré a comprarla. Si si tienes dudas puedes investigar las nuevas mecánicas par ala 2.0 y adaptarlas, también puedes bajar el print para imprimir las nuevas cartas en papel Couché de 300gr mínimo, pero honestamente no lo veo necesario, tiene fixes de traducción que no significan mucho y sólo hay una carta que es importante pero puedes sólo imprimir esa o manejarla digital. Por otro lado si lo que te procupa es el idioma, puedes descargar la APP (que está diseñada para la versión 1.0) y jugarlo en español. Honestamente es una gran aventura recomendada, sin importar que sea la versión 1.0, es fácil de adaptarlo.

Great game, especially solo or 2-player, at least 70-hour campaign. However, the original version (1.0) was grindy and unforgiving. Awaken Realms came out with v2.0 of Fall of Avalon (Kings of Ruins is a completely different game) two years ago but the version available here in March 2026 is still 1.0. The v2.0 rules are available online but this v1.0 needs a lot of massaging to fully play with the 2.0 rules and cards. That's unfortunate.

Product arrived in perfect condition

This is a board game which is very difficult to review properly in a short piece. Boradly, it is a board game adventure, set in the time of arthruian legend. A party of 1-4 adventurers, playing cooperatively, have to explore a dangerous damaged world to put things to right. The game map is divided into tiles which are placed gradually to form the map over which the 4 hero figures will travel. Therre is a lot of traditional roleplaying elements in this game around character development. There are also a number of decks of cards and other components. Some of these are used in combat and diplomacy, whilst others create random emcounters etc. Most of the game components are well made, although the plastic coins used to count down time in the game are not printer very clearly. The premise of the game is good, and the story has several levels, which can take the game in many diferent ddirections. So, it would be possible, to play the game at least twice and come out with a different story outcome. There are 15 chapters to the game --- some of these are long, some short, and some can get missed out depending upon what story choices you make. My friend and I have so far played up to chaper 8, and it has taken us over 10 hours. Thankfully, he has somewhere where we can leave this big game set out. The game manuals could be a little more clear in how they explain the mechanics of the game but you can generally make sense of them eventually. My biggest gripe about the game is that many of the mechanics are made to be overly complex. Instead of just throwing a simple dice, for instance, a coin sometimes has to be thrown, and we all know how this affect other game pieces lying in the vicinity. The combat system is, in my view, as a life time gamer of fantasy games, also more complex than it needs to be, involving cards embnlazoned with a range of symbols which must be matched up against your oponents. Overall, I have enjoyed playing the game so far, but you should be mindful that this is a big game, with a lot of processes to be learnt... not all of which are explained evry clearly
