I love this facial cleanser. I also love the rose scent. It is a gentle cleanser which I need because I have sensitive skin and rosacea. It is soothing and also has a lot of beneficial ingredients.

Washes away the days makeup, I use it as a second cleanse on top of organic oil cleanser. This cleanser is a light gel, that has a slight foamy texture when you add water and work it between your hands. It has a non-lingering faint scent of rose or floral. It rinses easily and leaves my older skin feeling balanced. It is gentle, but for someone who is super sensitive the scent could bother you? It is not a creamy moisturizing cleanser, maybe better for normal to oily. I love it and would order it again.

The REN Clean Skincare - Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel has a very nice fragrance, much more so than you would expect from a cleansing gel. It is a company I like and trust. I have used some of their products for years. In my experience they really are one of the few reliably clean skin care brands.This particular product, while it smells nice and is pleasant to use, is not my favorite of theirs. I am not sure why it is called a cleansing gel. The first two ingredients are water and aloe (and I probably should not be using it since I am allergic to aloe,) and soon, everyone may be, since aloe seems to have found its' way into everything recently, and allergies devlop by exposure. The next ingredient is coco based, also in everything.....which sort of makes me laugh since I have loads of both in my back yard. So there is a big part of why I did not rate it 5 stars. Everyone is putting aloe and coconut in everything. A few years back it was one or another acid. I actually went through my local Sephora with a manager looking for skin care products which did not contain acid. The only one I found at that point in time was F.A.B. The *one* I used was Ren's Glycolic acid toner, which I still use but, I really do not want acid in every product I use. The same goes for aloe and coconut.Seems like Rose is the 'it' thing this year. I was never huge on rose fragrances because so many smell fake, but I have found a small number of good ones, and this is the best I have found in a skin care product (well, excepting Neal's Yard Rose water, which is just what it says it is). Rose water has long been considered good for sensitive skin, and since I moved to Hawaii I seem to be allergic to everything, so I always look for "sensitive skin" products, and clean/ natural products. but, I am trying to avoid aloe and coconut, as if that were possible ;)I like this company a lot, but this product is not one of my favorites of theirs.

What a luxurious feeling cleanser! This super gentle yet effective formula is great for giving you a totally clean feel without stripping the skin or irritating the eye area. The gel is lush and feels cool and fresh on the skin. The scent is utterly gorgeous but doesn't linger; its a classic true rose scent that I adore. I would happily recommend this for almost anyone, especially people with sensitive and/or mature skin. The only exception would be that I wouldn't recommend this to someone on an aggressive anti-acne regimen.I've been battling an adult acne flare caused by an inflammatory skin condition which was under control but, sadly, I did break out after switching to this. I've had to go back to using Asepxia (great for adult acne, btw) but not because this isn't an effective cleanser. This simply doesn't have an active antibacterial, which I need. I look forward to switching back to this cleanser eventually, as I actually enjoy the experience of it and love being able to remove my eye makeup and wash my face all in one step.

This is a truly lovely, gentle, luxurious gel facial cleanser that smells delicately of real roses. It's not overly perfumed, rather you get the sense that the scent is coming from the ingredients that are integral to the working of the product.It is lightly cleansing without stripping the skin and easily took off my layers of sunscreen and old moisturizer and left my skin feeling soft, not overly tight, but thoroughly cleansed and ready for toner and moisturizer.I really like it! There is something very luxurious about real, natural roses in skincare.

I was not surprised that Ren's Clear Skincare "Rose" Cleansing Gel reeked heavily of rose. It is natural to the product as they add this pungent floral bouquet. The gel itself feels like a thick glob of aloe. It generates a mild, low-foam and rinses clean. Didn't trigger any breakouts, flares, or irritation. I don't like the aloe-thick texture in combination with the heavy floral scent. But if you like aloe and roses, and have combo to oily skin, this will likely be a delight for you.

Lovely face wash; gentle but effective. Good price too.
