Looks smart
Not what I expected. Said in the description that it was a woven weave material- Pooh bag is just not the collar or lead. More like a rubber texture. Also quite heavy- so I wouldn’t recommend for a small dog.I wanted to send it back- but my husband likes it so we kept it. Like I said- does look very smart, had a few comments to back that up.

This is made from rubber not fabric
Was disappointed to open the item only to find that its made from a thick rubber material. Not at all suitable for a puppy. Returned.....

Great little set with some good looks!
This is a nicely made lead and collar, quite robust and sturdy and made from what looks like textured Biothane, which if you've not seen it before, is a pretty cool material that kinda feels somewhere between rubber and leather and is entirely weatherproof and break-resistant (seriously, they use this stuff to make horse harnesses). I really like the combo of burgundy and antiqued brass and the clasp style collar means it has good versatility in terms of size, even fitting my miniature pinscher well, though I had to make the smallest size go as small as it possibly could go to get there. It all comes in a mesh carry bag which is a nice touch and overall feels well made and uses rivets of decent quality. If I was being quite picky I would say that I don't really like the regular trigger clasp that it comes with. This is nothing bad really and is standard on most any dog lead you buy, but I just don't trust them and I much prefer the locking clasps that you can screw into place, they're quite rare but much better, you know the dog is not going to ever slip his lead or the clasp is never going to snap open or fail in any way, so I wish it used something similar. Like I said though, that's being pretty picky and those clasps are not the norm so much sadly. On a side note, when it arrives, the lead has quite a few kinks in it from where it's folded for transit, they do drop out over a short time but if you hang it up and clip something heavy on the clasp it pulls them out a little faster. Overall this is well made and I think, given that you get the lead, collar, poo bag holder and a little ID tag that matches, this is actually really good value too. An excellent set!

Good-looking and functional collar and lead set
This is a very nice looking collar and lead set. It comes packed in a black draw-string bag and also includes a fabric, zip-up poo bag dispenser. I opted for the Burgundy size L (I have Boxer dogs). It fits both my male and female well (with adjustment). The material of the collar and lead is lovely and soft. It’s like ‘Biothane’ coated webbing which is a great material as it’s very strong, but also very soft and water and stain-proof. Any mud or other debris can be just washed off, as opposed to fabric collars that can end up stinky and grubby. The metal fastenings on the set are antique brass coloured. The lead has a trigger clip at one end and a D-ring at the base of the handle loop which is great for clipping the lead around your body if your dog is off-lead, and it’s also good for tying your dog around something like a café’s table. The collar is adjustable and fastens with a metal quick-release clip which seems very substantial and pretty strong. There is a D-ring to attach your dog’s ID tag , and there is also a decorative tag hanging off this which you could get inscribed to use as an identity tag. The collar and lead fittings are secured by brass-coloured double-headed rivets and they appear strongly secured. As with any collar, it’s wise to check that your dog isn’t sensitive to the type of fastenings used. Also, you should check the fastenings on your collar regularly and ensure that they are strong enough for your dog.The only think I will say is a slight draw-back, is that this coated webbing is a bit jelly-like and it has retained the folds that had in the bag when it arrived, but these do drop out over time if you hang the lead up on a hook. The current Prime price for this set is £25.99 which is fair value for nice leads and collars made from similar materials.

Extremely heavy and stiff collar
Anytime moisture is trapped under your dog's collar, there's the potential for chafing, which can rub the skin raw. This collar isn’t breathable being made of silicone so best used for temporary use like when swimming or muddy puddles. If a collar is very stiff or if it is rough, as can be the case with some synthetic collars, particularly around the ends and edges, it will soon cause chafing and rubbing to the fur and skin of the neck. A good collar should be smooth and supple, without rough areas or too much stiffness. This collar is extremely stiff. The collar should be wide enough to distribute pressure from the lead evenly without pinching, but not so wide that feedback from the lead doesn’t have an effect on your dog. This collar is very wide. The width of the collar is as important as getting the size right. Wide collars are made for large dogs, while thin collars are made for small dogs. A wide collar on a small dog can be heavy and uncomfortable. This collar is extremely heavy even on my medium sized dog.I’ve got mixed feelings about this set. Although it’s nicely presented and looks well made, I’m not a fan of the collar. The lead and poop bag get 5/5 but the collar lets this set down. It’s far too stiff, wide and heavy which has caused chafing because of this from reading the other reviews. £25.99 is a substantial amount for a set that isn’t quite perfect for many dogs. If you’ve got a big dog that likes getting muddy and can take the weight and width it could be an option for you…I hope I’ve helped ☺️
