Works perfectly.

Worked great extending mic/earphone cable an extra 2 feet reach.

Good construction and materials

Earbuds with mic work as if the were plugged directly into my laptop.

I use this to give my headset a "cushion" so I don't accidentally rip out the plug/jack on my computer.

Less *yoink*-factor.

There's no way this is a 5-foot cable. I stretched it out and it looks like it can barely make it to 4 feet (48 inches). This is deceiving and the product page should be revised. It is a smaller cable than the one I'm replacing with it, which claims to be a 3-footer. Maybe if I stretch it to it's very limit it would be 60 inches, but I doubt it. It shouldn't have to be stretched to its breaking point to be the length it claims to be, that defeats the purpose. Sending back ASAP. Disappointed. I won't even be bothered to test its functionality.(Sorry for images being in the wrong rotation. I have Android to thank for that :) )
