So I went into this purchase after reading a TON of articles and reviews. You can make yourself crazy! Let me try and save you some time. If you're a videophile and everything has to be absolutely perfect for you, avoid this product.If your the type of person who simply enjoys a great picture and the ability to watch a large screen, this is for you! I bought this for a birthday movie party. A bunch of teenagers watching DVD's. They LOVED it! I think it's great!You can show it on a white wall or screen in your house during the day and still see it fine. It allows for plugging in a USB as well so you can bring your video files wherever the projector goes. It also hooks up to HDMI and has audio out and in.The only complaint would be the sound is not very loud. If you pick up a bluetooth dongle you can sync up to any bluetooth speakers which is what I did. Anyway, I think it works great if your are looking for a fun projector for family activities or parties.

Picture is not a perfect square. It bends in at the top. For a 200 dollar projector it is what it is I guess.

The image is amazing. The sound isn't so great, but adequate. I highly recommend connecting external speakers. I have used the projector 3 times for a presentation in a large church hall. With lights on, the image is still very sharp and easy to see. However, the remote and buttons on the projector have started not responding after about 40 minutes of the projector being on. I have to turn off and turn back on the projector to advance to the next slide because the whole menu system will "freeze". This is a great projector for presenting movies, as you will not have to access the menu as often. For slide presentations through a USB key, maybe not so great. I'm going to try connecting a laptop to it and see if I have better luck.

This projector is pretty good. I am using it for a driving simulator. Brightness and dark levels are good. Fan noise is a bit loud. Keystone adjustment is only for vertical angle compensation.

This is the second RD-806 model projector I have purchased. The last one lasted three years with nearly everyday usage. This is a generic projector that multiple companies have placed their names on. On an even better note, this projector does not have OCDAY printed on it.The RD-806 model also comes in a mini version with only a single HDMI port. This is not the mini version.I had purchased as more expensive/brighter projector to replace the last RD-806 I had. However, that projector didn't even come close to the brightness and picture quality. This projector beat down a 6000 lumen projector in picture quality and brightness. This projector actually focuses across the full screen.Best projector for the money.

FOR the Price, this is very good.You want better, you will pay more.Decent bulb lumens. You do need a dark room but NOT completely dark. Any room with blinds down and lights off will work.Not distracting noise levelVery good remote control. Can be ceiling mounted.Again, FOR THE PRICE, excellent. I recommend it.

As a professional in audio visual technology, I was very concerned about getting a low budget projector that was to my liking. I must say, this projector blows me away. A fantastic picture with great color and clarity.I'd suggest messing with the user settings to adjust color, as the factory settings are mediocre. The detail of the image isn't 1080p, but it makes up for it with good contrast and color. Inset it up about 10 feet from my (white) wall for a 6 foot wide picture; you can't adjust the throw on this projector, but that ratio is pretty standard.My only real complaint is that the fan is extremely noisy. This could certainly be improved.
