What's the source of this pressing?
Picture on Amazon shows 'Columbia' but it's a product from NotNow records. No indication given of the source of the pressing and an odd looking sleeve.Sounds unlike a vinyl edition at all. My guess is that it's a public domain cd master pressing by a Russian company. These are being churned out in their thousands and bought by unsuspecting buyers.

Billie's voice wasn't what it had been but this album ...
Billie's voice wasn't what it had been but this album is superb because the voice is gone but expresses what she went through. This is the second last album she ever recorded and Ray Ellis backs her up. Most of her recordings were with small groups but Columbia gave her a full orchestra. The 8 bonus tracks are culled from live performances and includes her classic "Fine and Mellow"

Brilliant
what is there to say about her voice that has not already been said a million times over. She was remarkable and one of a kind. There will never be another voice like hers.
