Knife Sharpener BOJ with Ergonomic Handle and Wheel Sharpening System - Repair and Restore Knives

It WORKS!! I had a single metal sharpener that only seemed to dull my knives or cause me to create a divet on the blade. This old school sharpener was SO easy to use, with NO issues. Blades seem to be staying sharp. Took a bit to get here, but SOOO worth the wait. I highly recommend it!

Fast, easy way to sharpen a knife. Not sure if this design sharpens the blade or just straightens the blade but either way the results so far have been well worth the cost. An old design that fortunately hasn’t been lost.

My husband is always complaining that no matter what knife sharpeners I get, he can never get them sharp enough.I was watching a cooking show and I saw the woman use a similar sharpener to this. My Dad also had one similar, (50 + years ago) and it was the only one he used. His knives were always razor sharp!Well, I got this for my husband and you would think he won the lottery!! LOL!!He absolutely LOVES it and can't say enough good things about it!I highly recommend this very simple looking knife sharpener!!

I ran across this style of sharpener while researching japanese Naniwa stones for use in sharping kamisori (japanese straight razors).I currently sharpen my knives using the DMT brand of diamond sharpening stones. These work great (even for ceramic knives) and produce a very nice edge. Perhaps not quite sharp enough for shaving, but definitely very, very sharp for kitchen use. Generally, the edge produced via a stone is a flat or V edge, which is a good general all around cutting edge.When I first received this BOJ sharpener, I grabbed one of our dullest steel kitchen knives and ran it down the wheels under a little water. In only about 30 or 60 seconds, I checked the edge and it was scary sharp. The edge this sharpener produced - which I believe would be more along the lines of a hollow ground edge - was shockingly good. The dull test knife I used immediately went from being the dullest knife in the drawer to being sharper than our ceramic knives which i had just sharpened. I then used it on my friend's pocket knife, which had become too dull to effectively cut up cardboard boxes and it immediately put a razor sharp edge back on in a matter of 20 or 30 strokes across the wheels.I'm very impressed with both this sharpener and the resulting edge it puts on the knife. After initially being on the fence about buying this, I'm very glad I did; well worth the money!

Worked great, knives have never been sharper. Simple to use and re-established a good edge on my old beat up blades. Have seen cleaner w/high end stones, but for everyday use it meets any need I'll have.

V-slot style sharpeners work ok in an "emergency", but these have been around for decades and really work great as long as your knife edge isn't severely damaged. Just a few swipes on my kitchen knives and they shave arm hair with ease! It works best with a straight blade because of the four sets of discs. I use a Rada Knife Sharpener (single set of discs) for my combat knife that has a recurved blade so i don't wear out just the outer discs on the BOJ. Highly recommended!

I have used multiple products for sharpening knives. I am a klutz and have a hard time getting an edge on a knife with a whetstone type sharpener. This works great and anyone can use it. It is also very convenient since it is small and fits in my appliance drawer. I love this thing.

I really like this sharpener because it is easy to use and makes a very sharp blade. However, it has started to rust already and have only had it for like two months.

I remember seeing this sharpener when I was young and still have an old one quite rusty, so bought this and it didn't disappoint, been using it for over a month and sharpens knives so quickly and so easy to use and the build quality is solid. I won't need to buy anymore sharpeners now because this one is for life

This is the same version my Grandmother had my whole life. I now know why: works brilliantly and no parts to break. Convenient to use, my knives have never been sharper. Highly recommended!

Hay que tener cuidado de no pasarlo muchas veces ya que afila muy bien. Solo hace 15 dias que lo tengo, pero ya he afilado todolo que tengo en casa. Recominedo probar con dos pasadas en un principio y probar, pues yo di 4 en un cuchillo y mi marido casi se queda sin dedo pues no estaba acostumbrado a que ese cuchillo cortase asi.No se si durara asi mucho tiempo.

Benissimo non mi aspettavo una resa così! Ora i coltelli, sembrano professionali, quasi come quelli di uno chef stellato che affettano sottile ogni tipo di pietanza ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e consegna sempre superlativa
