Active Iron Advance Supplement 25mg, Clinically Proven, Gentle, 30 Capsules

Great iron supplement, one of the best I’ve tried. It’s genuinely very gentle on the stomach and effective. After literally two weeks, I noticed that I stopped getting out of breath when walking uphill, which I was experiencing because of my critically low ferritin. It’s definitely much easier on my stomach than the iron I got from the pharmacy, probably because of the lower dose and the way it’s designed to dissolve closer to the duodenum rather than in the stomach. I’m super happy with it and will definitely keep buying it.

The iron tablets come in blister form which are easily removed. The tablets are easily swallowed with water.When taken the tablets are gentle on the stomach. The tablets are used for iron deficiency. The tablets are value for money pleased with the purchase.

I was struggled with iron tablets with constipation, but these ones are great. I’ve been using them for a few years now never had constipation.

The packet was crushed on arrival. Fortunately the iron capsules weren’t. I find these are absorbed more easily than ferrous sulphate tablets and they don’t give me constipation. As long as I take them with food. They do give me some acid reflux but not as bad as other iron medication.

Although quality is very good but unfortunately was not right for my stomach, I only brought these because Solagr ones were out of stock. I have weak stomach so not everything suits me right. When you open these from the blister you get a strong smell of fish and chips vinegar☺️ I liked that smell. Good memories…quality delivery everything fantastic given the right person I think this product is 5 star but for me its a 3 only because I did not find it gentle on stomach and I have left them on the shelve hopefully I can give them to a family member.

This is a high dosage and high quality iron supplement. I struggle with low iron absorption and my blood tests always show high UIBC values. I've used both this and Ferrograd tablets in the past - the Ferrograd is a pharmacy item and higher dose (105mg) whereas this is available via retail and lower does (25mg) so is more suitable to regular/daily use to maintain levels when they are not too low. Taken every day, it does maintain my iron and ferritin levels, and I have no issues with my digestion/gut when taking them. Happy to recommend as an effective iron supplement for regular use.

These have certainly helped raise iron levels and in turn energy levels have raised and no longer feel lethargic and that can’t be bothered feeling in turn has gone. The tablet itself is slightly larger than a paracetamol but it is very easy to swallow as it is a capsule style and is a one a day tablet. We do need to be honest about a slight side effect however. These do create a wind issue. There is no escaping it, no matter how much I try to balance out with a good healthy diet etc I have developed far more exhaust fumes then ever before. I must say though that this is a trade off I’m willing to take.
