Upgrade for a Atomstack Pro A5 40watt stock laser 5.5....Simple to install , all is included in package ..Now to see if it can produce better results...Than the stock laser..?

This was an upgrade for the “40 watt laser head” actually a 5 Watt optical power head included on the Atomstak A5 Pro. This was truly a 10 watt head that doubles the speed and power for both engraving and cutting. True one pass cutting of 3mm birch plywood at only 60% power and 130in per min. Minimal scarring as well. Love the purchase easy to install. Wish atomstak had mad an adapter bracket for mounting the adapter board to the original machine. Only part of this add on that seemed like an afterthought

The media could not be loaded.  Same power same inches per minute the atomic stack etched at least 2 mm into the wood compared to the competitors no contest absolute amazing power in this atomic stack 10 W

Be aware this laser only fires at 1 kHz. Unless you’re moving very slow this laser is worthless.

I bought this to upgrade my Atomstack A5 Pro. It didn't come with the the clear instructions needed for hooking it up. I got in touch with Atomstack and they sent me a link to a video showing all the information for setup I needed. Their response was quick. The proper power settings for different materials is still a little black magic or trial and error if you prefer.These lasers will engrave steel but won't touch brass even with a dedicated black coating.

This updated my Atomstack A5 Pro to X7 power !This laser WILL engrave / mark stainless steel.And is twice as fast at etching and cutting wood as the 40w laser. This allows me to finish products faster and take more customers when I set up at pop ups and flea markets. Well worth the cost .
