Great upgrade for an old industrial singer sewing machine
I replaced my old original 111W Singer clutch motor, with this CSM3000 servo motor. I have used my old industrial singer for 35 years, so I had learned to control the old clutch motor pretty well. This new powerful servo motor made sewing a whole new ballgame. I am able to control the speed at startup now without touching the handwheel ! No more background hum, just silence until I step on the pedal. On a safety note I plugged my sewing light into the new controllers one receptacle outlet and the light turns on and off with the motor. So when changing bobbins or replacing a needle I know that the machine is turned on or off by looking at the light without having to look at the controller switch. I did switch the original 75 mm pulley to a 45 mm pulley before I installed the new motor. The pulley bore is 15mm and does not need a set screw. It is too early to know about the longevity of the motor and controller, but the design and manufacturing appear to be well thoughtout and it works as expected. I would purchase again without reservation.

Works as It should!
Overview: Best upgrade you can do! Don't buy the smaller motor, get the 1HP 750W motor!Bought this after getting sick of dealing with the original clutch motor. Installation on my old Consew 226 wasn't difficult, but I did need to drill new mounting holes on the table which was the most difficult part. Getting the pulleys lined up and drilling the holes took a lot of careful measuring. I also had to recess the mounting bolts a tad on top to get the length I needed to get through my wood table top. Youtube videos of similar installs helped get it all together correctly.Once installed It has been working flawlessly. I only have about an hour or two of time on the machine since the install, but it is night and day difference. I specifically purchased this one because it has more power and is suppose to do better with thicker material and leather which I do on occasion. I tested it with a 1/4" piece of leather and it worked great. I also purchased the smaller pulley to get more torque, but I have found that I have not needed to install that yet and don't anticipate needing it. I will keep it in case the need ever arises.Only downside to this purchase was I bought the first one from the "Used Like New" section and I was sent yard lights instead of the motor. Once I spent time getting that straightened out, I just ordered a "New" one and it arrived without issue.

WOW what an improvement!
Installed this on my Singer 211G157 replacing an industrial clutch motor that weighs a ton. Installing this system decreased the total weight of the machine and table significantly. For the record I'm not a seasoned pro, more like a very green beginner when it comes to sewing I know just enough to be dangerous. That being said the installation was pretty straight forward. Pay close attention to the diagram and you should be ok. The speed setting was also easy following the provided instructions. I was able to sew a costume and not have to worry about it going 100MPH in a flash. Getting a needle position sensor is the "cherry on top" for this system. Now I'm looking forward to more sewing projects and comfortably learning how to expand my sewing skills.

Great motor
Swapped out a clutch motor on my industrial sewing machine for doing upholstery work. I did add sheaves to slow the machine down at the same time and am very happy with the result. Great purchase for me.

Easy to control
I was having a hard time controlling the servo motor that shipped with my Juki LS1341. Finding the correct foot pressure when starting to sew was a challenge. Sometimes I'd get 1 stitch, other times I'd get 4. I switched to the CSM3000 and the difference was night and day. It's so easy to precisely control the motor so that I get the number of stitches I want, which I find important when backtacking. I liked the feel of the CSM3000 so much that I replaced the servo motor on my Juki 1541S with it as well.

Works great!
Worked perfectly on my Consew 226. No directions, but installation was a breeze. I removed the clutch motor and installed this one in about an hour. Had no idea what I was doing but, it was merely unbolt the old and bolt on the new one. The np one issue I have is the belt guard does not fit without the belt hitting. Might make a small modification at some point to put it on, but I am not too worried about it.

You need this for leather work on your industrial machine
This fit a Consew 226 on a standard industrial sewing table. Yes, you'll need to be handy with tools. And you'll probably need a different sized motor drive belt, which I also got from Amazon very quickly. But count on the machine being down until a new one comes in. Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to estimate the new belt size until the motor unit is mounted. Mount, measure, and order a new properly sized belt. This motor really slows down the needle speed when needed, but still allows full speed sewing when needed. Recommended.

Mostly good
Lots of power i sewed through 6 layers of canvas like butter but it is not a true single stitch I had to hand wheel quite a bit, it seems to be decent but it doesn’t have the same feel as my other Consew machines so I have doubts that it is truly Consew but something else relabeled.
