Did a few setups using this and it got me close enough to not kill the part. Had a little runout, but nothing I couldn't compensate for.

I like the fact the I do not have run the spindle to use it. The light is great in a poorly lit shop. I had to purchase for the 3rd time due to coworkers using it w/o my permission.

Pros: Accurate and simple. Cheap.Cons: No over travel protection. The post is solid and rigid. Be careful of over travel. Aluminum shank, did not fit in a solid holder. Difficult to indicate true in a collet holder because of aluminum body. Took a few tries to indicate within a tenth so check total run out before use. Seems very fragile and easy to break. Do not over tighten in a collet, it will be crushed due to aluminum shank.I ordered 4, I do not think I will re-order more when these finally do break. I think I will try the models with over travel protection next time.

Lo simple y sencillo de usar

Tool works well with good repeatability. LED is easily visible from almost any angle even in a bright shop. Could be better if it had an audible beep.

Worked great and glad it came with a battery
