Sorry, I don't know whether this applies to CD, vinyl record, etc, or even all functions. I'm also not sure what the auto stop function is. All I can say is, unfortunately these machines can be a bit temperamental; I think it comes with the cheap price. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but it might be a case of persevering and/or seeing what works and what doesn't.

It is possible to record tapes, vinyl records and CDs onto cassette tape, USB flash drive and SD card, but not onto CD.
