This worked just like I hoped. Caught 3 mice the first night. The trap doors are a little off balance. They are perfectly balances empty, but soon as you put bait on the trap door it is now out of balance. I had to counter balance with a split shot attached to the underside of each trap door. Was an easy fix. I did not use as Catch and Release trap. Bait (peanut butter) was wiped on upper inside of bucket for the added scent and a little smear in divot of the trap doors. Worked Great, arrived quick, easy to assemble

"Premium Quality Not Like Cheap Plastic" says the description. Whoever wrote that description didn't inspect the final product.The small magnets used for attachment make for a flimsy structure. The magnets are not very strong and do not hold the device together firmly. This does make it easy to clean since the pieces come apart so easily.The tabs on the ramps break easily. Once assembled you will not be able to un-assemble them.The double trap doors sound like a good idea in theory, in practice there isn't a good place to put bait to draw in the mice.

Works great until the mice realize what is happening. I watched a mouse put a paw on the flap, push it, watch is open. The mouse backed off from the food and flap, he skirted around the flapper and went back down the ramp. Shocking (and funny) to watch. No mice in the bucket for the next couple of days in that area. Had to move it to a different area.

Has never worked. Bought it because I had accidentally killed a rat in a drain water bucket. Since we have squirrels, I was looking for a trap that wouldn't kill them.I tried mx ways to make this work. Yet, every time the bait was taken and zero rodents were caught. So, it appeared that the fulcrum was off, allowing said rodents to pick of the bait without triggering the trap doors. I adjusted the fulcrum and this was the result.

The media could not be loaded.  This product does exactly what it promises. Fits over any 5 gal bucket, easy to assemble. I set it up to be used overnight, I added small dabs of peanut butter on the steps, under the cover and on the trap doors. I also used very small bits of apple and put a apple core in the bucket. You can also add a couple inches of water if you prefer a kill trap.The reviews about it easily breaking or having to counter lever the trap doors bc someone put too much bait on are clearly made by men who are overthinking. Who cares if it fits perfectly over a bucket or even if you’re too rough & break a connecting tab? Mice don’t care. I’ve trapped 3 and so far no more.

Tiny magnets not powerful enough to keep side walls in place while putting together. While adding the second, first falls down. Fix the first, second falls down. Back and forth several times until both are up but you're afraid to breathe let alone let a live mouse near them. Problem #2: tabs at top of ramps will not fit into slots for them. Too wide? Gotta use duct tape to hold them in place.

Ramp broke the first night. Then they chew part off the next week. Caught 2 if them with regular rat trap. This might work great for regular mice.

I was not expecting this to work but for the price it was worth a shot. We used regular peanut butter and all of the sudden after a week started catching one or two a day. As this has been a record year for mice with all the food around we are trying to catch them before they start heading for the house from the garage. Just ordered another two more; one for the shed and one for the basement.
