Great for Car Camping and Hiking
Love this kettle! Got it for our car camping kit since it was collapsible hoping it would help save space. It has held up well for a about a year new. Fits plenty of water for brewing coffee, making hot chocolate or any boiling needs while camping. It packs down well and is light weight enough for a quick backing trip or for making tea while hiking in the fall. It is also pretty sturdy while pouring, though not a stable as a traditional kettle.

Works great! With a bit of practice.
I have a small camper with very limited space and this little kettle is ideal. The metal bottom and collapsible silicone top allow it to fit into a very small space yet it will boil enough water for coffee, tea, cocoa, oatmeal, etc. I use solely for boiling water on the camper’s propane stove; I do not put anything in it except water. I have used it for about 80 days and it works flawlessly for that purpose. I was concerned about the bond failing between the stainless bottom and the silicone top but that has not been a problem. The hole in the top is quite small and it would be difficult to clean so I stick with water only. It’s not a cook pot. The handle to support the kettle, as well as to open & close the lid, is very unusual. At first it seems ridiculous but once you figure out why and how it works it is clearly a brilliant design for the purpose. It will take some time to get used to the lid/handle operation. I never dreamed a tea kettle lid could feel “complicated” but that is the right word - until you get used to how it works. Until that time, it is a lesson in humility, and we can all benefit from those lessons… you gain wisdom and a hot beverage! What’s not to like?

Holds quite a bit of water
Used it camping. Made 2 kids cups of hot chocolate a 20oz cup of coffee with one kettle of water and still had room in the pot. Because of the position of the handle it's weird to turn the kettle all the way over to get out all the water. If the handle was on the side, instead of up top, it wouldn't be so awkward - but then it wouldn't be collapsible so oh well. Nice that it collapses so flat.

So far so Good
I took this to Philmont with serious doubts but it did not disappoint. It is light weight but more importantly it packs down to a slim profile and fit in an outside pocket in my pack. I was worried about a white gas burner being to hot or to wide flamed but it was never an issue. we had 3 coffee drinkers so this worked well providing 3 coffee cups worth of hot water (sea to summit 8oz coffee mugs) every morning and on the nights where we didn't feel like leaving our campsite to get coffee from the staff lodge. Never had any issues cleaning it but we only needed to heat up the water. Never had any issues with leaking or cooling it down to pack it away. I plan using it as my go to so from here on out so I will update if needed.

Handle gets hot.
Good - claps-able. Bad - I filled this less than half way. The body was not very balanced with the plastic handle. Its odd to pour. I didn't bother to fill it all the way. I had to hold the bottom with one hand and poor while keeping an eye on the lid so it does not pop open. Handle gets hot. I did read this in the reviews. Anything designed for camping should not have plastic within heat reach. The lid is not very secure. When you poor it kind of doesn't stay. It kind of does. Good idea but poorly designed.

Portable kettle for backpacking & camping
Geiserailie Collapsible Camping Kettle is my latest camping gear. I've been a family camper for years and hauling a huge camp kitchen. But this year, I'm doing some backpacking and camping. So small and light is the name of the game. The use of silicone is a game changer in lightweight and size management. So this kettle has both. The kettle is barely 8" tall and just under ~3" collapsed while just 1 lb. The 1.5l makes over 6 cups of coffee or rehydrates several packs of food or several bowls of ramen noodles. The stainless bottom doesn't change color or stain from little isobutane stoves. An entire pot of water boils in 6-7 minutes from 50 degree air temp. The spout pours water in a nice narrow stream, which is great for pour over coffee or directly into a water bottle, etc. The handle takes a bit of time to get use to the outside being the lid and the inside piece is the handle. I would have designed it the other way, which would be more intuitive to use, especially the lock mechanism. Bit it works well once you get the hang of it. Now with both collapsible kettle and pour over coffee filter, making a high quality cup of coffee is possible even when backpacking.

Could get burned
I love this idea for our camper van, but it falls short for us. It took a really long time to actually get boiling. Once boiling, it is actually dangerous to pour becuase it starts to collapse on itself from the weight of the water. We followed the instructions and did not fill beyond the fill line. Glad we tested it before taking it out camping. Returned for a refund.

It’s just what I wanted, small light weight, compact and stows away easily after use.

Extremely portable, packable and practical. Easy to collapse and fast to boil. I highly recommend if you have space restrictions of any kind. We even managed to match it with everything else in the trailer.

I bought this for camping, love the compact size for storage with all the camping gear. It works great, the handle release takes a second to get used to but otherwise had no complaints whatsoever. Boils a lot more water than my last kettle so was great for heating water for dishes as well. Totally recommend!
