Woder 10k-FRM-DC Fluoride Filter deserves 5 stars with no doubt in mind from me. I totally recommend this filter to everyone who is looking for a filter for drinking water ,or thinking about switching from previous one that needs to refill, or anyone that still purchasing drinking water from store. First thing I want to tell is the taste is so good and the water clear. I used a different filter, gave me a piece of mind the water filered, but I prefer this one for so many reasons. More than that, thanks for all the follow up to ensure from before and after I receive the system like receive the filter as expected, emails instructions to install. The delivery came earlier and the filter is ready for install by following step by step instruction in the book. In the box it has one filter, one booklet and two crews. unless you prefer a different way or need to add a separate drinking fauset or other configuration, you need to buy more parts to complete your desired setup. That's what I did. I am using a separate drinking fauset so my wife and friends dont feel drinking from tap water. More over, I like this filter provides many gallons like as much as 5k gallons which I can't tell for now. it will last for one to two years, not just a couple months, it means save more money and less hassle to change filters. All this is true to another model Woder 10K-Gen3 except it doesn't filter floride away like this Woder FRM-DC. If you need a new drinking water filter, try this one. It's so simple to set up unless you need a separate drinking fauset, you need to buy a one- in- two- out adapter, and kit includes connectors and tube matching your new drinking fauset size. All probably less than $15 (not include fauset) and add whatever style of fauset one's like. I am happy with this filter!Ok I forget to mention one small thing that The Woder 10K FRM forgot to add two scews in the box. I could not find it anywhere inside, unlike Woder 10K-Gen3 comes with two screws inside to hang the system. The Woder 10K-FRM-DC Fluoride system has two filters, one is 10k and the other one is only 5k (the Fluoride one). One is half of the other, so one needs to be replaced first unless there's a reason Woder says need to replace both. For now i just enjoy the new filter water first....

This filter is great. First off the installation is easy! My husband and I are not generally "handy" people nor do we try to be (after several failed DIY attempts).For this we simply wanted better quality drinking water in our house. This easy mounts under the cabinet and hooks to the cold water line. There is a slight decrease in pressure but nothing that made us second guess the choice. The water pressure returns when you switch to warm (as it doesnt go through the filter) so we still have good pressure when needed.The taste is easy noticeable! The water just tastes more refreshing.. if that is even possible. We also like to use the metal reusable cups for work and running around.. the water taste better when sitting in those cups. Before sometimes you could taste the metallic. I thought it was just the cups. NOPE. Its the water.Highly recommend this for anyone.

Before and after water test results at end of review!I had to buy a difference hose to connect the filter to my cold water hose for my sink, but other than that minor annoyance, installation was easy and straightforward.It took longer than expected to flush the filters, there was a ton of floating material even after the 3 minute mark the instructions said to run it for.Taste is noticeably different, and mouth feel is much much softer (as evidenced by the test kit results). The water flow came out to exactly 1.32 GPM as rated. I've had this for over six months. Water tastes great, but I still get black specks from the filter on the bottom of the drinking glass almost every time. Very annoying.

This filter is easy to install and the water does taste better with no yucky chlorine taste BUT it decreased the faucet flow rate by 50-70%. The cold water is little better than a trickle now which is entirely unacceptable. I have contacted Shefi to determine if the decreased flow is a feature or a bug, and to return the filter via the 100% No-Questions-Asked Money-Back Guarantee. The Woder FRM is listed to provide 3GPM (gallons per minute)."My water pressure pre-installation has always been a little wimpy, but I did test the flow post-installation and it took 1:12.67 to fill a gallon jug, which is in line with my earlier estimate of being 50-70% slower. Either the filter doesn't work well with low-ish pressure or I have a defective unit.
