EMINENCE EPS15C 15-Inch Pedal Steel Guitar Speakers

I got this speaker to replace an Eminence Beta speaker in my Polytone Mini Brute IV, which I use for playing steel guitar. I wanted a 4-ohm speaker, so I would get more volume than I was getting with my 8-ohm speaker.The Eminence sounds really good for my steel guitar. There's none of the somewhat dull "solid-state" sound with it; it sings a lot better than my old speaker, and gives out that distinctive, recognizable steel-guitar sound.I was afraid the Eminence speaker wouldn't fit in the Mini Brute, because of the dimensions as listed. (I thought it might be too deep.) But it fits nicely, with no conflicts. It connects to the amp via banana plugs, rather than spade-type connections.The speaker did come without a manual or instruction sheet of any kind. So I was doubtful as to which connection to connect the amp's red wires to, and which for the blue wires. So I have to deduct a star for that.

Wow ! This speaker sounds great and is really lightweight too. It is really clear on the hi end and nice tight on the low side with not too much mid range.

So far so good. Speaker is still breaking in but sounds remarkable and great tone. No loss what so ever..... I’m switching out from 15in Blk Widows because of half the weight and I needed the Peavey in a different spot.

This speaker exceeded my expectations. It not only is much lighter but the highs are silkier and sweeter than my previous Eminence 15 inch speaker that came with my Fender Steel KIng amp.. I highly reccomend ity. EMINENCE EPS15C 15-Inch Pedal Steel Guitar Speakers

Replaced the stock speaker in my Steelking with this EPS 15C. The sound is warmer to me, and has a 'sweetness' to it. It was easy to change out, took about 15 minutes. The light weight is SUPER - this speaker is about 15 pounds lighter than the heavy stock speaker.

Sounds good . Really light too
