We test for heavy metals, microbial contaminants, identity, and purity to ensure highest quality.It is encapsulated here in US and bottled and labeled here in our Bloomingdale USA facility. The most important considerations are that our ingredients are safe, meet specifications, and are not adulterated. Although today the focus is on specific ingredients from China, problems can arise even with U.S. produced ingredients. The issue is thus not the country of origin, but the safety, quality and integrity of the entire supply. Bad ingredients can and do come from anywhere. The only sure solution is to have a strict program in place to test ingredients before they are used in foods and supplements.  At NOW Foods we have in-house state-of-the-art chemical and microbiology testing facilities. Both forms of CoQ10 (uniquinone and ubiquinol) occur in the human body. According to the NatureMade website, it doesn't matter which you take: "Regardless of what form of CoQ10 you take as a supplement, the body is able to convert the consumed form to the other form as needed. In other words, if you take a reduced CoQ10 supplement (ubiquinol), the body can convert the reduced CoQ10 (ubiquinol) to the oxidized CoQ10 (ubiquinone) and vice versa. This conversion takes place to maintain a state of equilibrium between reduced CoQ10 (ubiquinol) and oxidized CoQ10 (ubiquinone)." I've read carefully on "Coq10 100mg, 180 Vcaps", but nowhere can I find, whether or not there is liquid or dry stuff in the capsules - help! & Thanks
