Great set. Looks great when all lit up.
Good value for money. Great quality keyboard and mouse. Looks really cool with the light up function. The keyboard is noisy to type on but it’s a really satisfying sound. Not heavy but good weight to it. Good functionality.

So far, so good
Pros: - The keys feel good - There is no input lag - Has all the keyboard shortcuts you need -Shares a receiver with a mouse which is a great idea -Light’s turn off quickly when not used (about 2 mins off no use, might be a con for some people) Cons: - Relatively low battery considering quick sleep timer - Only 3 color modes, can’t set one static block color - Keyboard doesn’t remember your color setting, have to put it back to the color you like every time - Mouse is very now and too small for extended use so had to use another -Only charges via laptop, can’t use plug outlet to charge Overall a good inbetween keyboard while you search for a long term replacement

Mouse wheel broken within 3 months
Mouse wheel has already started having a mind of its own a few months down the line. Keep with the reputable brands. Avoid cheap. However, customer service was spot on. Emailed them and having a brand new one shipped out next day. Cant fault the company. It seems the mouse has issues with most people though.

Wireless keyboard and mouse
I bought the keyboard and mouse for my son. They are great, and for this price, the quality is justified. They are rechargeable and can be used wirelessly, but they can also work when connected to the computer. I recommend them if you want something reasonably priced and of good quality

Cheap-feeling + Laggy
I was not expecting this to be a great keyboard, being half the price of my old wireless keyboard but I was not expecting keystrokes to be delayed and noticeable input latency for the mouse. Key strokes keep getting delayed despite the keyboard being centimetres away from the USB receiever. I like the RGB, I like how light the keyboard is. The mouse does not feel good, it really struggles to glide on my gaming mouse pad so makes the sluggishness of the input delay worse. This is not a "gaming" keyboard and mouse combo. It's a cheap wireless and mouse set which would be acceptable for a child. Not viable for office or gaming usage.

Perfect for your gaming set up
Great product and value. I love the lighting on the keyboard and the buttons are nice to press and i like the raised height of them. The mouse is great for gaming and very responsive and no lag at all considering its wireless. I am amazed at the battery life i have had both items running along side each other for around 3 or 4 days and not charged once. Would be nice to have a button to change to specific colour but that dont overly bother me. Looks great with my new gaming pc also.

Nice keyboard for the money, but...
I like the feel, sound and features of this keyboard. I'm NOT a gamer, but I find the keyboard quite comfortable to use, and the backlit keys are not only cool they make it a lot easier for a fairly quick hunt and peck kind of typist like me to type! The fact that the backlit keys even have the secondary symbols lit is also a plus (may backlit keyboards don't light those). I also tend to wear out the characters on keyboards fairly quickly, and with backlit keys like these, those characters should remain visible until the plastic has a hole worn right through it! I am disappointed that RedThunder is not using unifying USB receiver technology. I have a different Logitech mouse that uses a unifying USB receiver and I was hoping this keyboard was going to be compatible with it so I did not have to tie up another USB port on my computer for the keyboard. Another thing is that I wish to use the mouse that came with this keyboard on another device than the one using the keyboard, but because it requires the RedThunder USB receiver (only) I am unable to use a standard unifying receiver to do that. I am thus also a bit disappointed that RedThunder apparently does not sell spare USB receivers, or other parts like replacement keys for these products. 3 MONTHUPDATE: the company's statement: "The keys have a 10 000 000 keystrokes lifetime, so you can hold on to it for the next decade! ABS keycaps adopt two-color injection molding process, the letter of characters never fade." is totally incorrect and misleading. The keys are transparent plastic, and the characters are masked off when they paint the rest of the key black. I use the keyboard a lot and after just 3 months the paint is wearing off the top of some of the keys thereby obliterating the characters, see photo. Also, when new the battery lasted about a week (I use it all day long every day), then a week later it lasted 5 days, then a week later it lasted 3 days, and now I have to have it plugged into USB power continually to use it.

Very nice product, especially for the price; my son loves the feeling of the mechanical keyboard.

While I love a good click-clacky-keyboard, sometimes you want something a little quieter and more considerate (noise-wise to the people around you). The RedThunder K800 Mechanical Keyboard is colorful (with its LED colorway display), customizable, and feels solid - like it will hold up to regular use. Can't speak to it being water-resistant as I don't wanna purposefully test that particular aspect. I would recommend getting a gel pad wrist rest as the keys are set a hint higher because it is a mechanical key keyboard. Be aware, this is a cabled keyboard, not Bluetooth, which I didn't mind. Otherwise, it works great.

There are a few issues that keep the RedThunder K800 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard from greatness. And there are several aspects of this keyboard that are strong, so this is still a solid product. So let's get the weaknesses out of the way first: - The lights are unevenly distributed underneath the keys, and there is not a one-to-one/light-to-key mapping. There are more like 10 or so LEDs underneath all of the keys. This causes the light to be unevenly distributed, so some areas of the keyboard are brighter than others. This is particular noticeable when there are no animations. - There are a few preset options for the colors (using a Fn-keypress to activate), but I was still left unsatisfied. I am now accustomed to RGB keyboards where the individual key light can be set. A few brightness levels are included also, so the entire array can be dimmed. - The light times out after the keyboard has not been touched in a few minutes. There is no way to set an "always-on" mode, even when the machine is plugged into an outlet. This is a bummer for games that might require sporadic keyboard use. In a dimly lit environment, having the keyboard go dark in the middle of a gaming session is not good. Pressing a key will register the key-press also, so there is no way to turn the lights back on without sending a key press signal. Meh. - And finally, the keys are not very translucent at all. Even with the keyboard lit, it can be difficult to see which key is which if the environment is dark. - And a bonus... this product has the notorious micro-text manual. Go find a magnifying glass, the normal human eye can't read this manual without some sort of magnification. But like I said, this keyboard does a lot right also - so let's end on a high note. Here is what it does well: - The construction and quality is top notch. This keyboard is made of metal and passes the lift test with flying colors. It is heavy and will stay where it is put. - The keys are a pleasure to press. I wouldn't want to do any speed typing on this board, but for gaming it is perfect. - The braided cable is of generous length and is well constructed. - The keys can be removed and swapped, and a tool is included to pop them out. So there you have it. It doesn't reach greatness, but a solid performer nonetheless. Shop around, and if this ends up being your cup of tea then you can't really go wrong.

I was super excited when I ordered this keyboard because I have a "gaming key-pad" from RedThunder that I absolutely love and this keyboard seemed like it was going to be another favorite peripheral from RedThunder for me. Unfortunately that is no where near what happened when the keyboard arrived. I pulled it out of the box, realized it is EU style (not that big of a deal since I don't use my desktop for much typing) but also that it has a super tiny shift key. Okay so not the end of the world, but then I plugged it in.... and the W, G, and Windows keys either didn't work at all, or only worked if I pressed so hard it felt like I was going to break the whole keyboard. Of course this was likely just a random defect since when I removed the keycaps, it seemed the switch had just been manufactured wrong, so I contacted RedThunder using the information they provide in all their products. 5 days later, I had not heard back though, so I tried to contact them through Amazon on their seller's page. Another 5 days and no response. I then waited 5 more days just to be sure they aren't just slow; no response. I finally broke down and contacted Amazon and requested a replacement, which arrived in less than 2 days. The replacement works fine and I really do like the look and feel of the ketyboard's metal deckplate and the slightly defused key switches that make the RGB look nice and clean, BUT I cannot in good conscience recommend this product based on RedThunder's lack of customer service. Especially for a brand that literally includes like 3 different pieces of paper with every one of their products that tells you about "how much the customer matters" and "please feel free to contact us if you have any problems or questions" and all that type of stuff. Overall if you are willing to gamble on getting a defective product and zero support from RedThunder, go for it, but otherwise save your money and look elsewhere.

Worked great at first. Didint like my switch. changed that, things were OK. Constant updates. 3 months later. The letter 'L' quits working. After another tri-weekly update.
