Never read this book series but it has mystery , super powers, and family all wrapped up in a enjoyable read. My daughter read it when she was 12 and she enjoyed all of the books that came out.

I think this is my fave volume of the series. I love seeing the kids in new york. The only thing is having erasers at every turn gets a little less scary. Maybe it reads better in words than in pictures. Overall its still a good story in manga too.

My daughter has the first one and has read it several times. This is a late V-Day gift from me to her. Can't wait to see her face!

This is a great book if you love Maximum Ride and manga! It's even pretty good if you just love manga. The pictures are excellent. It dosen't go into details that much, but you get the picture! I, in fact, liked it a tiny bit better than the first one. I loved when the flock got their makeovers! I read the whole thing without putting the book down in two hours. I mean, it's not a super-fast read, I just read Maximum Ride really fast! If you're a beginer at manga (like my daughter) then you could use this book for some examples of facial expressions and anatomy and stuff like that. So, anyway, it'a a great book!

best to get all the books in the series so you don't have to wait to read what comes next. This series is the best one next to Harry Potter that I have read. These kids fly! They kick butt and they are all on their own! Wow, get it and see if you feel the same. Don't bother with the illustrated set, get the written out set. You lose too much of the story's flavor in the illustrated set.

Tout aussi passionnant que le tome 1.Max et ses amis sont toujours drôle, leur histoire est captivante.Et j'avoue avoir beaucoup aimé la "transformation" de style de chacun ... !On passe une fois de plus un moment agréable.Le manga adpaté des Romans de James Patterson suit bien l'histoire, l'humour y est assez présent, on sent bien la reflexion de chaque personnages, tous sont trés bien travaillés.Le graphisme est aussi trés réussi, tout autant que dans le tome 1 d'ailleurs !Les personnages sont trés réelles, ils ne sont pas extrément beau, voir trop comme dans les mangas.A lire, il est tout aussi intérréssant que le premierOn attend la suite avec impatience !
