Poorly machined and tight joint. Cutter performed poorly after several cuts on 12 ga Romex

Good Cutter and Stripper, but...
... when I crimp heat shrink butt-end splices the tool makes an indentation in the shrink wrap. It looks like it goes all the way or most of the way through to the metal sleeve inside. This negates the water tightness of the connection, which is what I need on my boat.
