This toy is not getting enough credit. You folks who say it is not realistic are quite right. The lights and noise are a dead give away.HOWEVER..... You are not thinking outside the box. I am using mine in a little magic show, and with a few modifications, it is VERY scary.There are 3 tiny screws on the bottom. Take it apart very carefully. The body is in two halves. I ruined one of them on my first attempt. Trying not to move any of the wires or mechanics inside, you simply snip the LED light off. The wings come off easily. In fact they will fall off when you open the body. Screw back together and then it looks more like a beetle instead of a roach. Yes the noise factor is still there, but work around it.Might seem like a lot of work for a little toy, but believe me. It can be terrifying. Transform a toy into a nightmare.

As Donald Trump would say, "Fake News"! Wouldn't fool a blind person. It has blue / red lights I believe, oversized, not realistic, and loud remote control sound as it walks around.

It is bigger than I expected. Will not work on a carpet. lights up red and blue and I did not expect that or like it.

The description mentions that this product is ment to resemble a cockroach however, the package states that it is a giant cockroach. After reading the reviews I expected it to be larger than a real cockroach so I was fine with the size. I bought it as a Christmas gift for an individual that loves a good laugh. Although it is a Christmas gift I did carefully remove it from the box in order to ensure that it did infact work and in my opinion it works way better than expected. I was super impressed with this toy.

This product works better than I thought it was going to. The only thing is the roach is huge and if youre trying to scare someone they will know it’s fake because of its size and it lights up different colors while it’s running. It’s a cute toy for a kid but not really something that you can scare someone with which is what I wanted it for.

Thi thing was such junk the. Maker should be ashamed. It was like so big i was completely ridiculous and unbelievable. The video that ricked me into buying had a much smaller bug. Plus it stopped working after about 5minutes. What a waste

I got this thing to get a few laughs at work. Unfortunately I was testing it out at home and my dog attacked it and now it only goes in circles. But it’s a pretty nicely made little item and if your dog doesn’t get ahold of it you’ll probably have months of enjoyment from it. One sidenote. I was tempted to paint over the red and blue flashing lights on it’s head because I wanted it to look more authentic
