This teapot is great! I use it to heat water in the microwave for my pour-over coffee maker so that I don't have to monitor a stovetop kettle. The spout delivers a consistent stream of water without dripping, the handle ensures an even balance and does not get hot, and the lid "locks" on. I also like the classic shape and simple color. It's a perfect size for my purposes. I can boil 24 oz of water in it without it overflowing.

This is a high-quality restaurant or coffee shop tea pot. If you drink a lot of tea, and drink multiple cups in a sitting, this is the best option. A lot of porcelain tea pots are really silly looking, which is great if you're hosting a Mad Tea Party. This tea pot is for serious daily tea drinkers. Other than the look and material, it holds at least three cups (American-sized mugs, that is). I measured it at 34 fluid ounces. AND it comes with a great infuser! The infuser is deep, almost reaching the bottom of the pot, and the mesh is fine enough that even the dustiest tea doesn't leak its leaves out during infusion. Don't bother searching your local tea shops for a pot like this. They don't have it.

I don't understand all of these reviews that say this teapot does not drip. I have experienced a dripless teapot and this one unfortunately, it does drip! What I mean by that is that a droplet of water will drip down the underside of the spout after you pour out some tea and set the teapot back down on the table. I tried pouring with various amounts of liquid inside the teapot (from almost full to almost empty) and they all had that annoying drip down the underside of the spout. Other than that, it's well made, the shape and size is good, not too big, not too small. The handle is nicely rounded but it has that flattish shape. The lid is kind of loose-feeling. There is a part of the lid that secures itself into the infuser inside, but it still felt loose to me. The infuser inside is well made and easy to remove if you don't want to use it.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Porcelain didn’t have any blemishes or pts or uneven areas. Smooth smooth finish. The center piece for the tea leaves is stainless steel and fits perfectly. Holds the heat while seeping tea. Holds plenty of water and tea. Great value for the money.
