More Seed Bead Stitching: Creative Variations on Traditional Techniques

I was a bit disappointed with the range of projects given as they all seemed a bit similar to each other. There was nothing really eye-catching, at least for me, but there are a couple of items I will try out. It has good illustrations and clear and easy to understand text so overall a decent book.

Easy to understand, lots of good projects! Recommended for bracelets. When ive got through all the projects in the first book (Seed Bead Stitching) I cant wait to start with this one!

When you read a book with clear instructions, easy to follow steps and lovely projects, your expectations are met. When you also add new ideas and tips, expectations are exceeded and this is a bonus. But when you also find the pages filled with sympathy, passion, love, dedication, then you can't ask for more. This is the case with Beth's book. All of her books. I love finding new ideas, new ways to use those ever increasing stashes of beads running everywhere around the home, and in Beth's book your dreams are fulfilled. You will look with new eyes the things you have already learnt to do and your imagination will become a vast ocean. YOU CAN'T ASK FOR MORE!!!

Although there are projects in this book which are very pretty and I shall be trying one or two, it is more an inspirational book. It explains different stitches and how they change in appearance when different bead types and sizes are used. It encourages experimentaion with stiches, design and colour. Its a book you need to read through more than once and I will definately be referring back to it over and over again.

This is an excellent book giving ideas forvariations on stitches and patterns. The author is knowledgeable, the style more casual than some books and friendly asides and tips are given. I wrote in Beth Stone's online guestbook and had a very fast and personal message from her. She obviously loves what she does and I'm anxiously awaiting the first book in the series which I presume has been delayed by the snow.

I really like this book, it is simple to understand and I have tried quite a few of the projects and am very pleased with the results and it has given me confidence to experiment. I have made a bracelet and necklace in the triangle design and they look lovely. I could recommend this book to anyone.
