Works good
Easy to pick takoyakis, use from inside the takoyaki and just pull to easy turn them. Very nice.

Build quality passable, does what it advertises.
It gets the job done, but I don't imagine it lasting many years. I would suggest this as a starter to try out if you are just making takoyaki for the first time, but not for any commercial kitchen use or as a gift.

thought it was bigger!!
Works well, but I thought it was bigger. the Picks are about 4-5 inches long which are kind of small for me. work wonders though.

Great specialty item
We ventoured out to start making takoyaki at home, and while I must say I am no expert, this little tool made our first few attempts much easier. It is simple to use, and you can get help from any online video website on how to make the most of this pick and the takoyaki pan. Much nicer than using a fork or other utensil to flip the little takoyaki spheres around in the pan!

From afar it looks may look like a little skewer
From afar it looks may look like a little skewer, but upon further inspection, it looks more like a flat-head screwdriver (Not that we would ever use our flat-head screw drivers for food preparation). The wooden handle gripped well despite us having greasy hands from the preparation works. It does what it is supposed to do, that is, turning Takoyaki without puncturing them or damaging the pan.We got two of these and they do help make turns easy. Recommended for Takoyaki enthusiasts. Do make sure your batter is not too watery and your Takoyaki pan is sufficiently seasoned or oiled prior to cooking, otherwise turning will still be difficult.

Cheap but can scratch nonstick takoyaki pan.
Its a cheap and great tool to turn yourTakoyaki, however it can scratch thePan when turning the takoyaki.Be really carefull or dont get the nonStick pan to cook your takoyaki.

たこ焼き器の表面がテフロン加工で、先のとがったピックが使えず、初めは竹串や箸を使ってひっくり返していましたが、うまく出来ずに困っていたので、これを買ってみました。ある程度表面が焼けたところで、側面を押すようにしてやると、くるっとひっくり返せます。
